The National Emergency Nurses Association - Alberta is the Provincial chapter of the National Emergency Nurses Association (NENA) What are our objectives?
1.

To promote the specialty of emergency nursing.
2. To promote and provide continuing learning opportunities in emergency nursing.
3. To promote interdisciplinary networking/communication opportunities for nurses.
4. To promote and disseminate emergency nursing research.
5. To promote an awareness and liaison with community resources.
6. To identify issues relating to emergency nursing.
7. To presen

Alberta Health Services has been notified of an additional new case of measles within the Central Zone where there are now 22 confirmed cases at this time. Several of the individual cases have been in public settings while infectious, including in the communities of Two Hills, Vegreville and Red Deer. Additional locations may be released if necessary.
