Deep breath. This will be my final week at Parallel Yoga. The announcement of this closing has taken me on a deep grieving process. For the last 10 years, I have had the privilege of holding space for you. Once class begins and I close those doors, you close your eyes and we take our first few breaths a shift happens where I get the opportunity to take a seat of the teacher, to create a space for you to breathe, to feel, and to move your body without any expectations or judgments.
To this community, I am so grateful to you. To the beautiful pregnant goddess who came to their mats, I watched you grow and yogis and incredible mothers. To the yogis who took your very first class with me or to the yogis who practiced 100’s of time with me, thank you. Thank you for your smiles, your laughter, and for showing up just as you are. To the bonds and friendships that I formed at Parallel and have deepened over time you are gifts to this world and I will always cherish each and every one of you. Together we have experienced so so much and I could not be more honored to have been there as part of your journey. So again, we are taught that everything has a beginning middle, and end. Endings can be beautiful they are a part of our practice.
I will miss this space, I will miss you terribly. Big exhale.
I am not too sure where I am going to land but for now, I will be offering some online classes at www.jaynemcgregoryoga.com
