Wild Child Wellness My name is Lizz. I am a Registered Massage Therapist and a Certified Prenatal, living and working in rural Saskatchewan, Canada.

I am currently taking my Baby-Led and Well-Being specialist training. Lizz Bottrell, RMT

Lizz graduated from the 2-year Distance Education program at Western College of Remedial Massage Therapies (WCRMT) in Regina in 2016. She is registered with Natural Health Care Practitioners of Canada (NHPC), having graduated with 2200 hours of training. Her training includes Swedish-based therapeutic and relaxation massage, hot stone massage, treatment for TMJ dysfunction and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) stretching - a form of stretching that utilizes the body’s stretch reflex to elicit an increased range of motion. She is passionate about educating her clients and empowering them to take control of their own health and well-being. Lizz takes a collaborative approach when developing a treatment plan for a client, taking the time to understand the client’s concerns and treatment goals. Because people play the biggest role in their own healing process, she develops a plan with her clients. Her plans incorporate massage, stretching, exercises, hydrotherapy and lifestyle adjustments. She lives in Oxbow, working Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in her home clinic, spending the remainder of her time at Lotus Tree Wellness and Healing in Carlyle. Lizz plans to expand her knowledge with continued education of additional modalities including Thai massage, reflexology, yoga, soft tissue release, injury prevention and rehabilitation, and postural dysfunctions. Outside of work, the 30-something-year-old is an avid adventurer, always seeking her next destination, whether exploring closer to home or hopping on a plane to fly across the world. She enjoys gardening, boating, snowboarding, yoga and playing tug-of-war with her black lab Keisha.

Next week is fully booked but I have a few appointments later in October. Book online at your convenience or send me a message if you need any assistance.

If you don’t see an appointment that works, I have a wait list feature that allows you to put in days and times that would work and this gives you first dibs if those appointment times open up.

This September marks a big change in our household as our little mate had his first day of Kindergarten yesterday 🥺

This also means my schedule is going to change. On the days he is in school, I am only seeing clients during school hours.

I am back working some Fridays now that he is in school, which gives me more availability.

Please use my online booking link (below) to book your appointment. There is a wait list option if you do not see any availability. Often if you don’t see availability, it means there is none so the wait list is the easiest way for you to be notified of a cancellation.

Cheers to a new chapter! Sending love to the parents also navigating this new chapter ❤️

Join me tomorrow for our last kids yoga class of the summer!

19/08/2025

With the end of August nearing and school starting soon, send your kiddos out to a yoga class to help them move their bodies and learn a few techniques to help calm their minds.

My 5 year old son, Phoenix, will be joining me for tomorrow’s class at the museum in Oxbow. So bring your younger kids if you’d like or send them with an older sibling. Parents / caregivers are more than welcome to attend

We are almost midway through August already, it’s hard to believe!

If you are like me and feeling a little exhausted from running around all summer (or starting to feel some aches from bending over in the garden), book yourself some self care with a massage. I have a few opening left for summer.

Join me for youth yoga today at the swimming pool. I set up in the northeast corner. My classes include movement, breathing techniques (which assist with. It’s emotional regulation and athletic performance) and body awareness. Caregivers are welcome to join with kids and learn too.

Hope to see you there!

Change of plans-I put the remainder of my August schedule up for online booking this morning.

My schedule for September will be going up at the end of August, likely in 2 week chunks to give me time to make sure everything works as I need. I will ask that people please be patient with my scheduling for September as I will be working around my son’s Kindergarten schedule, which means there will be some changes to my availability. I should have all the kinks worked out by October.

The weather app is calling for sunshine tomorrow so I hope to see some people out for youth yoga at Oxbow Swimming Pool!

We will move, breath and have some fun.

Children younger than 8 are welcome if older siblings or caregivers are attending.

All set up and ready for outdoor kids yoga at the museum in Oxbow. Hope to see you here!

The rain has stopped so outdoor yoga at the museum in Oxbow is a go! I’m bringing some camping mats for kids to set towels up on since I assume the grass may still be wet. Dress appropriately for the weather please! Look forward to seeing some friendly faces this morning.
