“Long-Term Enrollment in a Community Exercise Program Attenuates Age-Related Declines in Fitness in Older Adults”
Our recent paper highlights long-term participants in the MacSeniors Program at PACE. Older adults who stick with supervised, twice-weekly workouts can largely avoid the steep declines in aerobic capacity and muscle strength typically seen with aging.
