Trouble shooting time; socks with seams, shoes, slippers, summer sandals.
New shoes bought, old shoes donated/recycled, waiting on new slippers to come in from IDA Wasaga Beach.

Yes, we even engage in activities like swimming with clients. What better way than to beat this heat as well. 🥵

It's a low-impact exercise that's gentle on the joints, making it beneficial for those living with arthritis or other joint pain. The buoyancy of water reduces stress on the body, which allows for a wider range of motion and improved flexibility.

Assisted Adult Living, this coming week,will be celebrating going into its 13th business year anniversary. What an amazing milestone, for the company's resilience and success over time.

Yes, we help assist LTC staff in daily oral hygiene with their residents, our clients. We also attend their dental appointments whether it's at the dental office or in-home/on-site dental service like Toothpicks.

We ensure regular dental cleaning is booked. And book any other necessary appointments. This particular day was on-site, for a filling. The client did extremely well.

Did you know that you're at increased risk for dementia with hearing loss? 👂🏼

A study published in The Lancet found that people with mild hearing loss had twice the risk of dementia, those with moderate loss had three times the risk, and those with severe loss had five times the risk.

Why not get checked, it's covered under our Ontario healthcare! And while you're there, ask if there's a wax build up. This may add to hearing loss and tinnitus.

Wouldn't you love to hear the sounds of the birds, waves, wind, conversations with your friends and loved ones, or the giggles and chatter of your grandchildren.

It was a different kind of week for me; reading and filtering through resumes, interviews over the phone, and some, in person. Met some talented, ambitious individuals.
One selection made so far, and job shadowing starts this coming week.
And the search continues for PSW and HSW workers. 🧐
