I love my Apple Watch, but many of the outdoor workouts don’t record GPS 😑 distance is really the only metric that means much to me. How long did I snowshoe, xcountry ski, or paddleboard!?

My other issue with the Apple Watch, the only available workout for mountain biking is cycling (road biking) and I was absolutely not getting enough credit for how hard I was working 🥵🥵🥵

I now record my workouts in Strava and get everything I want. Oh, I use my Apple Watch to record the workouts🤦🏻‍♀️

Feeling pretty good about the amount and balance of my activity since I started recording in July.

No plans to make any real changes this year, slow and steady progression with incremental increases in weight.

Six years ago, I certified as a Restore Your Core® (RYC®) Teacher. Healing my body was my ONLY goal. Teaching? Not even on my radar. But the more I learned, the more I couldn’t help but want to share these incredible tools with others.

Wow, what a wild ride these past 6 years have been! I’ve worked with thousands of people, become a senior staff teacher for RYC®️ Teacher Training, Community Manager, and Director of Content for RYC® FIT. I wear a few hats for the organization and it would be tough to pick a favorite, but if I had to, it would be my role as Community Manager. I’m a helper by nature, and it’s an honor to support those on their healing journeys.

Seriously, if you’d told me back then where I’d end up, I would’ve laughed. Never in a million years did I think this was possible.

Thank you, for everything I’ve learned and continue to learn from you, for trusting me with opportunities that challenge and stretch me, and for your not-so-gentle nudges that consistently push me beyond my comfort zone!

Despite the endless challenges brought by a global pandemic, which included navigating online learning while sharing a one-bedroom apartment with and for the first month, your resilience and determination have shone brightly. It may not have been the first year of university experience you envisioned, but your ability to adapt and excel through these four years is truly inspiring.

I’m a married mom of three amazing and nearly grown children. I enjoy gentle strengthening and mobility exercises, hiking, mountain biking, and you can find me lazing at the lake on a hot day.

I found my passion for helping women in their own healing journeys while recovering from a car accident that left me in chronic pain.

I am a Restore Your Core™ and Therapeutic Yoga Intensive Level 1 trained movement teacher helping people move and feel better, there is hope, healing is possible.
