Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Optometrist at Sirocco Optical in Calgary, AB. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting eye exams, prescribing and fitting contact lenses, diagnosing and treating eye diseases, and providing personalized recommendations for corrective eyewear. The Optometrist will also collaborate with our team to ensure the highest quality of patient care. Duties and Responsibilities
Provide high-quality optometric care and services to our patients.
Develop a strong and personal rapport with your patients by creating a professional, friendly, and stress-free testing environment.
Ensure all patients receiving accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.
Create exceptional value in the lives of patients by providing excellent patient service through the delivery ex*****on of the Sirocco Optical eye care experience.
Conduct all services in accordance with clinical protocols and accepted standards of care.
Helps ensure Sirocco Optical remains a trusted partner for comprehensive eye care.
Skills and Qualifications
Valid Optometrist license in the Province of Alberta
Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited program
Experience in conducting comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing eye conditions
Expertise in prescribing and fitting contact lenses
Knowledge of current optometry practices and advancements
Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively
