Hello everyone,

As you can see, I haven’t posted in quite a while.
2023 was a pretty intense year for me.
My brother died unexpectedly, 😢 and I have been immersed in closing up his affairs for the past year. During that time, I have realized that I don’t have the mental space to do social media for both my wedding business and my coaching business, so my focus has been on weddings.
For that reason, I am no longer going to post on this page.
If you would like to join my private Facebook group, Say I Do To You 2-please do!
It’s filled with health and nutrition tips and recipes.
Or if you would like to follow me on my wedding officiating page, that would be wonderful too.

Thank you so much for being on this journey with me.
I look forward to welcoming you onto one of my other pages. 💗

Have you ever cooked with turnips before?

Turnips are versatile, and you can enjoy the leaves and the turnip all the same.

You can roast them, mash them for a "mashed potato" feel, or use them in stews and stir-fry. Pretty much anywhere you'd use a potato, you can substitute a turnip. Turnip fries are a hit, too!

Turnips are in season, so add a few to your grocery list and give them a try this week.

Have you made an effort to design your bedroom into a warm and inviting space that promotes relaxation?

Aside from being the place where we lay our heads at night, our bedroom can be even more of an oasis than a comfortable place to crash.

Here are some ways you can add some extra relaxation to your bedroom:

• Choose to spend 15-30 minutes at night in your room before committing to sleep for the night. Use this time to light a candle and read a book or journal.
• Keep a room free of clutter. If needed, pick up each day and make your bed each morning for a tidier and put together atmosphere.
• Have softer lighting around the room so you can avoid having the overhead light blaring on you. Grab a few small lamps to scatter around the room for a softer feel.
• Grab your favourite cozy blanket and keep it close by for those wind-down moments at night.

Do you spend time in your room before you lie down to sleep at night?
For me personally, I do my gratitude journal and then read before going to sleep.

For those of you in the USA who are nearing Thanksgiving, you may have gratitude on your mind. We often use this time to be extra mindful of what we are grateful for and our abundance.

I'm curious what your personal definition of gratitude is, though.
Is it a feeling? Something you choose to do and practice?
This answer is different for everyone, and I can't wait to hear what you think.

For me, I think gratitude doesn't have to be a big huge thing. Gratitude means noticing and appreciating those little things each day that you are grateful for.

My Story

I am a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Certified Health and Life Coach and Culinary Nutrition Expert Instructor. I help my clients to transform their health and balance their blood sugar and emotions so that they can live a healthy life free from dependence on doctors and medications.

When it comes to our food, I believe It’s What’s Inside That Counts and I teach my clients how to heal and improve themselves from the inside out.

By taking my clients through a process that involves shifts in mindset and nutrition, I empower them with the knowledge that their health and happiness is in their own hands, and I provide them with the tools to keep it there!

Working with me they acquire the skills to eat and prepare real food, never count calories or feel deprived and make simple lifestyle changes which set them on a path to substantially transforming their lives by reducing weight, aches and pains, depression and anxiety.
