Do you ever notice yourself rambling, justifying, or repeating your point, even when nobody asked for extra details?

That’s not you being “too much.” It’s often a learned survival response.
If you’ve had to protect yourself from criticism, rejection, or punishment in the past, your nervous system may still believe it needs to overexplain to stay safe.

You’re not broken for doing this. You’ve just been trained to survive.

💬 Does this resonate with you? Drop a “💙” if you’ve ever caught yourself overexplaining.

Overthinking doesn’t always show up as panic attacks or big fears.
Sometimes it’s a thought that seems small, but spirals into a full crash in your mind.

You might notice:
– Replaying conversations long after they’re over
– Assuming people are upset with you even without proof
– Blaming yourself for things that aren’t actually your fault

It’s not that you want to overthink, your brain just doesn’t know how to let it go.

(read that again: you’re not alone đŸ€)

Drop a “💙” if your brain has ever made you trip over thoughts like this.

Sometimes it’s not the “big” things, it’s the everyday stuff:
✹ Walking into a room and feeling like you’re on stage
✹ Replaying a text or conversation over and over
✹ Avoiding eye contact because it feels too intense

This isn’t just shyness. These are the kinds of struggles that many people with social anxiety quietly carry.

If this resonates, you’re not broken, and you’re not alone. 💙

Drop a “💙” if you’ve ever felt like all eyes were on you.

Have you ever left therapy feeling more misunderstood than when you walked in?

We hear this often, especially from clients of colour, first-gen adults, neurodivergent folks, and trauma survivors.

💬 At MindShift Integrative Therapy Centre, we do things differently.
You don’t have to over-explain.
You don’t have to prove you’re struggling.
You don’t need perfect words.

✹ You just need to show up. And we’ll hold the rest.

Have you ever felt more restless in a calm relationship than you did in a chaotic one?
Or maybe when life finally slows down, instead of enjoying it
your chest tightens, your mind races, and you’re waiting for the “other shoe to drop”?

That’s not because you “hate calm.”
It’s because your nervous system learned that chaos = normal.
So when life feels steady, your body gets suspicious and thinks: “Something bad must be coming.”

💬 Can you relate to this? Drop a 💙 if calm sometimes feels uncomfortable.

Ever open your phone just to “check one thing”
and suddenly it’s hours later, your chest feels tight, and your brain is buzzing? đŸ˜”â€đŸ’«

Anxiety doesn’t always look like pacing or panic.

Sometimes it looks like:

đŸ“± Scrolling endlessly because it’s easier than facing your thoughts
⌛ Losing hours without realizing it
đŸ˜¶ Feeling more drained the longer you stay online

It’s not laziness, it’s your brain stuck in a loop.
And if you’ve been here, you’re definitely not the only one.

Drop a “💙” if you’ve ever gone down the spiral.

Hyper-independence often looks empowering, but when it turns into isolation, it can feel like carrying the whole world on your own.

It can show up as:
– Never asking for help
– Saying “I’m fine” when you’re not
– Choosing isolation over connection because it feels safer

This isn’t failure, it’s survival. But survival mode can feel incredibly lonely.
If this resonates, you’re not alone. Drop a “💙” if you’ve ever felt this weight too.
