2024 was a difficult year for sure. Considered a blind year, it means that it was difficult to see the fruits of our labor, it was difficult to see next steps, and it was difficult to see the big picture. Without any kind of navigational system, we were really challenged to ask, why are we doing things this way? It was an ugly deep-dive into personal, family of origin and karmic stories and our attachments to them. For many, this brought up themes of powerlessness, hopelessness, overwhelm, and maybe even feelings of being punished or sabotaged. Sometimes we even became addicted to the overwhelm and the busyness.

So as we move into 2025, the question isn’t what do I want to achieve this year. The question is how do I choose to exist in this year? Sure we can have lots of goals and objectives and positive outcomes. But let’s not make our resolutions to-do list items.

This year you’re going to find opportunities for new beginnings. Some might be small, some might be a revival of ideas long past. Think of 2025 as offering an opportunity for subtly refining your character - because it sure took a beating in 2024. And remember…. no matter what choices we make or what happens, we can always begin again (and not just from rock bottom but from wherever our feet have touched down)
