Hi Everyone. I still have some openings at the women's centre for discounted massage and Reiki treatments next Tuesday and Wednesday. The first consecutive Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday of every month, I offer treatments at a significantly reduced price for those needing some deeply nourishing body work and can't afford the costly prices. I'm unable to accommodate healthcare benefits, so I like to make this offering to make it more affordable. I have been studying and practicing Reiki, deep tissue, and acupressure massage for several years and have a knack for working out those kinks.

I have finished the first painting of a series I am working on of the archetypes of the Munay Ki Harmony Rite. Here is the Rainbow Serpent, the primary life force that lives deep within our being and knows it’s way back to the garden of innocence and reminds us to walk filled with beauty on the belly of Mother Earth; gently, belly to belly. Rainbow serpent is associated with the root chakra and the colour red.

Ok, you win. Because so many inquired about getting massage but were hoping to apply through benefits to get discounts which I can not do because I am not registered through BC health and I understand the insane costs of living and the need for personal care, I have decided to offer discounted massages the first week of every month for women who are in need of deep healing body work. The first Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday of every month starting June 5/6/7, the Blue Dragon Women’s Centre is offering 1 hour massages for $50; deep tissue, healing massage with 15+ years of experience, feel free to contact me to book your appointment 🙂

Hope you all had a fantastic Hallowe'en, and looking forward to putting to rest our useless past with the fallen leaves, ready to hibernate the winter away and nurture our inner creative space in preparation for all new things to come.
The Saturday night paint jams continue through the winter as we gather to express our creative spirits. This month's paint jams will be, as usual, the first and third Saturday of the month; November 5 and November 19, 6-9pm. Everyone is welcome to attend for an open night of painting; drop in fee is $15 if you bring your own supplies, or $20 with supplies provided. 219 Main Street, #206 …We've been having a great time gathering to paint and chat, would love to see some new faces!!
On November 19 I will be live painting during the day at White Lioness for the Penticton art walk. There will be tonnes of amazing art displayed all throughout downtown, the last one was a huge success so I am looking forward to that; come check it out if you're looking for something to do on a Saturday afternoon and possibly find some great Christmas gifts, too!
