Ravens have always spoken to me. They are beautiful, powerful and mysterious, just like the sacred healing arts.
Ravens have a penchant for collecting shiny objects, as though they are tools of divination. Ravens are adept at solving puzzles, and they are known for their intelligence and ability to learn quickly and apply their knowledge to difficult challenges. Working with individual souls and empowering them to heal themselves could be seen as helping to solve a beautiful puzzle, and the ancient wisdom and knowledge I am humbled and blessed to have at my fingertips could be seen as the tools of divination to unlock this healing.
With iridescent beautiful shimmering shades of indigo and onyx in their feathers, Ravens are synonymous with magic and mystery. Mystery is where all potential exists, and magic transforms. This mysterious, magical potential and transformative nature also exists within the spectrum of our innate ability to heal.
My name is Jody Stadler. I am blessed and grateful to do what I love. I humbly bring to you, 16 1/2 years of experience in the realm of healing touch. My passion for healing work began with my own journey to healing from debilitating migraines. What a beautiful and heart expanding journey it has been. The first soul nourishing and fulfilling ten years were spent in Alberta as a Registered Massage Therapist, and the last 6 1/2 transformative years have been spent here in this beautiful seaside Island sanctuary of Victoria, as a massage provider and spa therapist and as a student of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. I recently graduated from the three year Acupuncture Program at my beloved Pacific Rim College, and will be offering the wisdom and magic of Acupuncture alongside massage in the spring/summer of 2020. I envision a beautiful melding of this ancient, holistic and multidimensional medicine with my passion for massage.
My treatments are an intuitive fusion of all I’ve experienced and learned over the last 15 years, and are influenced by and infused with touches of Reiki, Thai Massage, Relaxation Massage, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue massage (with the ability to provide a strong and powerful pressure), Tuina, Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine Foundations, Acupressure, and Meridian Stroking and Palpation. I have trained in Doula work, and am so grateful to have had extensive experience in prenatal and postnatal massage. My strong hands are ever ready to relieve your stress...to soothe your pain and discomfort with a nurturing, firm, even touch that comes straight from my gentle heart, and it is my honour to create beautiful and intuitive custom treatments for my clients.
I sincerely believe that it is my sacred purpose to hold space, and to channel compassion and healing to you through touch. My dream is that women's holistic health be the heart of my practice. I am filled with unwavering compassion for all living things and for our earth, and I am devoted to growing and learning both as a human being, and as a healer and practitioner. I believe this growth to be ever evolving and infinite.
My intention is to be present with you during your time with me, to provide empathy, warmth, a safe space to release and unwind, and a deep sense of relief and well-being to you with each and every treatment.
