I hope you're enjoying this weather as much as you are able; I am!

And I am also looking ahead a month or so:

my Iyengar Yoga classes are starting up again in just five weeks;

Hello dear friends of Yoga Whitehorse,

there are five more Yoga Classes with me in Carcross this spring
session:

Tuesdays 12pm - 1pm at the Fire Hall. Free for all participants.

There are four more classes with me for Elder Active at the Northern Lights School of Dance (back of The Guild Hall in Porter Creek) from 10am - 11:30; register with elderactive.ca or in person at class.
Fee is $23.

Happy early spring, dear friends of Yoga Whitehorse,
I just wanted to remind you that my classes are ongoing and will for only another two months - until the end of April. Then I intend to take my annual summer break for outdoorsy pursuits.

Here are the classes you may participate in:

Thursdays: In Whitehorse at the Northern Lights School of Dance (behind the Guild Hall in Porter Creek), 1000-1130.
Please preregister with elderactive.ca, or pay cash at class, $23.

Tuesdays: Carcross Firehall, noon to 1300 - free to all.

Tuesdays: Marsh Lake Community Centre 1700-1815 - free to all.

Update regarding Carcross Yoga venue, Wednesday noon to 1pm classes will be held at the Fire hall next to the RCMPolice station instead of Haa Shagoon Hidi.
Classes are free to all participants - some fitness is required.

The pictured venue at Atlin Lake is far away so we'll meet at the Marsh Lake Community Centre gym.

SPRING YOGA WORKSHOP IN TAGISH!

Dear friends of Yoga Whitehorse,

you are invited to participate in this Tagish Yoga event of the year!

This is a one day workshop with two Yoga classes,
facilitated by certified Iyengar© Yoga teacher
Richard Mueller of Whitehorse.

Workshop details:
Location: Tagish Community Centre
Date: Sunday, March 24, 2024
First Yoga class: 11am - 1pm
Lunch 1-2pm bring your own, snacks will be provided
Second Yoga class: 2-4pm.

You might think that four hours of Yoga might be too much for you;
don't worry! The contents of the classes vary to balance stronger
practice with regenerative poses so that you leave the workshop
enriched and centred.

Some props are provided and please bring props if you have them.

Cost: Tagish Community Centre members - FREE
Non-members may purchase a membership expiring on March 31st for $15
per person or $30 per family.
