After a few weeks of living with our grief - It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce that our sweet Maui girl is gone. She died peacefully in our arms on July 12, 2024 and our hearts are shattered.

Maui gave us over 14 years of love, snuggles, farts and full throttle crazy - our home feels empty without her. There will never be another Maui and I thank God every day that I was chosen to be her mama. She lived life exactly how she wanted and ate whatever she wanted! If you knew her - you know....

I am devastated that this chapter has come to a close. Death sucks. Death hurts.

Certification of death in British Columbia - Certification of the cause of death is the legal responsibility of physicians. It is necessary for a physician to make the medical certification of death within 48 hours of the death and before the body can be released for burial or cremation. They DO NOT provide Death Certificates!

The funeral director will use the document to register the death with Vital Statistics BC and will provide original Death Certificates to the executor. A permit for disposition is also issued to the funeral home during the registration process.
