What a night to remember at the Dagmar Ski Patrol Annual Banquet for the 2025/2026 season! 🎿✨
We laughed, celebrated, and honored one another with a mix of fun (and a few serious!) awards that truly captured the spirit of our team.

We are more than just a group of volunteers, we’re a community—we’re friends who support each other on and off the slopes. Here’s to another incredible season behind us and many more ahead! 💙❄️

We have 3 different shifts on a weekend; opening, mid-day, and closing.

It was a particularly busy day when we took these photos but we did our best to keep it on the hour!

Whether you’re a Fire-type bringing the heat to a medical scene or a Water-type navigating the snow, there’s a spot on our roster for you!

We’re more than just a crew in red jackets; we’re a team of outdoor lovers who high-five as much as we patrol. The best part? You don’t need to be a pro to join the squad. We’ll teach you the first aid!

From morning sweeps to post-shift laughs, being on patrol is about community, safety, and having a blast on the hill with your friends.

We can’t say we’re all line dancers, but we can say we’re all excited to be out on the hills today! There’s no bad weather, just the incorrect gear!

Our friends are open! We can attest that the snow is great!

When you come out today, don’t forget;
❄️Moisture-wicking base layers (not cotton)
❄️A warm mid-layer (fleece or wool)
❄️Waterproof ski jacket & ski pants
❄️Waterproof mittens or gloves
❄️Warm ski socks
❄️Neck warmer / gaiter or balaclava
❄️No exposed skin on hands, face, or neck

Patrol Tips for the Sun:
-Protect your eyes: Snow blindness is real—keep those lenses on.
-Hydrate: Don’t let the cold fool you; you’re still working hard.

The views are 10/10 and the turns are even better. Stay safe out there, enjoy the sunshine, and we’ll see you on the slopes!

Bluebird days and boot scootin’ ways. Who knew ski boots were made for line dancing? (Our ankles didn’t, but we’re doing it anyway).

We really do love it out here! Whether we’re first on the chair or sweeping the last run, there’s no place we’d rather be than at the hill.

But you know what makes our hearts skip a beat? A skier or rider who knows their Alpine Responsibility Code. When you stay in control and give people the right of way, it’s basically a love letter to the patrol team.

Here’s some reminders:
-Always stay in control
-People ahead have the right of way
-Stop where you’re visible
-Observe all signs and warnings

Thanks for making our jobs easier and the hill safer for everyone. We’re out here because we love the snow, but we stay because of this community.

Last Call for On-Snow first registration! 📣

Our on-snow registration window is almost shut. Whether you rip on skis or a board, we’re looking for dedicated people to join our patrol family.

Don’t worry about the medical side yet—our comprehensive First Aid course takes place this fall. We’ll teach you everything you need to know; you just bring the stoke and the skills!
