She is the Annapolis Valley's only Clinical Herbalist and is Certified in Holistic Care for Animals. She offers public workshops on Herbal Medicine and Natural Care for Animals. She is the Founder and Director of North Mountain Animal Sanctuary and the Natural Medicine Standards/Compliance Committee of Nova Scotia. She has a full dispensary. Amanda also offers Reiki for people and animals.

A reminder this Sunday is our annual 'Medicinal & Edible Plant Walk' fundraiser for North Mountain Animal Sanctuary. It's at the Wolfville Library at 10:30 a.m. (rain or shine). Led by myself,Clinical Herbalist, Amanda Dainow. Our fundraiser was recently featured in Saltwire. $20 donation to NMAS. Hope to see you there.

Annual Plant Walk Fundraiser North Mountain Animal Sanctuary

We have over 100 animals in care and fundraisers support their care!

Amanda will be doing her 14th Annual Plant Walk Fundraiser Sunday, July 7 10:30am - 12 pm rain or shine. We meet outside the Wolfville library and walk along the old railway trail on an easy, slow walk, where we learn about local and native edible and medicinal plants.
