Good sleep is a cornerstone of health and well-being, and it all starts with your body’s natural clock, known as the circadian rhythm. This internal rhythm helps regulate your sleep-wake cycle by responding to cues like light and darkness. When your rhythm is steady—thanks to habits like going to bed and waking up at the same time each day—you’re more likely to feel rested and energized. On the flip side, things like late-night screen time or irregular schedules can throw this rhythm off, leaving you groggy and out of sync. Small changes, like dimming lights in the evening and sticking to a routine, can go a long way in improving your sleep and overall health.
