🕯️ Today, on Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, we come together to honour the lives of the babies who left us too soon. This is a day of support, compassion, and remembrance for families who have experienced the profound pain of pregnancy and infant loss.

🌟 We light a candle not just to illuminate the darkness but to symbolize the light these babies brought into our lives, even if their time with us was brief. Each flicker represents the love and memory we hold in our hearts.

On this day of Truth and Reconciliation, we reflect on the historical injustices experienced by Indigenous communities in Canada. We honour the survivors of residential schools and those whose lives were lost. We honour their families and their communities who have suffered, and continue to suffer.

Flutter Care is committed to learning from these communities about this shameful history and the pain it has caused generations of families through listening, co-creation, and respect for traditional practices of birth and perinatal care.

In Canada, Indigenous parents continue to face a 2-3x higher risk of stillbirth — Let's use this day not only for remembrance but as a call to action. To educate ourselves, to listen, and to actively participate in the fight for reconciliation and equitable care. Together, we can create a better future that serves all of us. 🧡

Our company understands that each woman's health, story, and experience is special. We believe that every woman deserves support tailored to their personal baseline, capturing the complexities of fetal activity and maternal health.

Flutter Wear is an award-winning, personalized fetal monitoring system that will provide contextualized analytics on your baby's activity.

We also foster a multidisciplinary support network to offer guidance, education, and resources during a woman’s pregnancy.
