WE DID IT! We are super proud to be able to make our first donation to the food bank. We paid a visit to the facility and handed over a cheque to help support the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. Week after week, Richmond businesses have been pivoting their every day ‘business as usual’ to adapt and respond to COVID-19. We are in awe of their innovation and generosity to help better our city. Here are this weeks Feel Good Friday stories:

▪️Everglade Development decided to use its six-month marketing budget to respond to Richmond Hospital's request for help by purchasing equipment for the hospital
▪️ Kwantlen Polytechnic University instructors 3D printed 1,000 "ear savers" for healthcare professionals
▪️ Goodbowl launched a phone app where people can buy food items from restaurant suppliers instead of grocery stores
▪️ The Comate was created as an anti-viral, touch-free tool, small enough to keep on your key chain
▪️ Applied Biological Materials - abm has joined forces with a research lab at Simon Fraser University by supplying the novel RNA Mango dye to help develop COVID-19 testing kits
