Florent Carrier, DOMP, trained in France enjoys working out. He was destined to become a professional soccer player long ago. He had some hip issues as a young and talented football player and he sought consultation with an Osteopathic Practitioner. Surprised at the results he change the course of his career path and enrolled in a program Toulouse.

We have a new Osteopathic Practitioner joining our clinic! We are accepting new clients in Vancouver, B.C.

Florent Carrier, D.O.M.P., completed his studies and research thesis with honors in 2014 from the Osteopathic Institute of Toulouse in France. Since his graduation he worked in the region of Toulouse and has done extensive post graduate work. His interests range across a wide spectrum from paediatrics and gynaecology to posture, micro nutrition and more. His personal interests include Soccer, running mining and bee keeping.

We are accepting new clients in Vancouver, B.C. This early summer we have Thomas Smith, DOMP, returning from his sabbatical. Education is important aspect of Osteopathic Manual Treatment. At Fairview Osteopathy, clinic owner Erica Trivett, has been working in the somatic field for many years and began her manual osteopathy because she wanted to understand more about the underlying mechanisms at play. Today, Erica has taught for three years online running her own classes biweekly to facilitate learning and exploration through awareness and movement. In her Feldenkrais® Method: Awareness Through Movement® lessons (ATM® lessons) she enjoys sharing some of her knowledge about anatomy, laws of physics & movement, embryology, human development and much more.
She is proud of her students and the accomplishments they have made, exceeding their expectations of discovery.

Mathilde Hervieux, D.O.M.P. graduated in 2009 from the "College Ostéopathique de Bordeaux". She practiced in France and Switzerland briefly, and then established her own successful business in St. Pierre and Miquelon (French Territory in North America). After 6 years Mathilde then moved to Montreal (Canada) where she is currently working since 2017. She has diverse, unique and effective professional experience that allows her to provide a personalized and quality treatment for her patients. Her practice is mainly focused on the musculoskeletal system as well as the digestive and cranial spheres. Based on her years of practice she applies two critical elements to optimize the benefits of her treatment: first, timely follow-up consultations with all patients, and secondly, encouraging all patients to adjust their lifestyle habits. She strongly believes that it is her role to support each patient on a personalized path of self-healing, of which the patient holds the key to the best remedy.
