New kid on the block in the Nolita neighbourhood! 17-course omakase for $189+ tax. Certainly a more boujie experience price wise.

I mention in the video that there was this one dish I tried that was super surprising. I don’t quite recall what it was, but honestly think Chef might’ve said fish s***m. Which if true, would really be my first time trying. I know it’s supposedly a delicacy in Japanese cuisine. Very interesting 🤨

The chefs were so skilled and they even let me drink sake from this HUGE red bowl they had in their restaurant. Had gold flakes and everything! It was def an experience. 10/10 recommend 👍⁣

Part of the Afghan Kitchen family and sister restaunt of Zarak which is right next door — Their story began as their mother cooking for her 4 sons, but quickly grew into a restaurant loved by hundreds in the city. And now Elem represents the next chapter of Zarak.⁣

Such an elevated dining experience. This was my second visit and it might’ve been even better than my first. Amazing service as always, and the food and drinks were delicious. Their cocktail selection is elite here and every drink order I’ve had has always been super unique. ⁣

Tried two cuts (Ribloin & Rump) and both were amazing! Cooked them up at home and they were SO tender 🤤⁣⁣

Definitely a great spot to grab some premium wagyu cuts for a treat yourself meal at home. They’re also available for pick-up or delivery on Uber Eats. ⁣

I recently visited this spot in Kerrisdale and really enjoyed it! Can’t beleive they’ve been operating since 2004, that’s 22+ years 🤯 But for good reason because they truly are a gem.⁣⁣ Amazing Japanese food options and impeccable service.
