We often have this misconception that these two things are one and the same.
I could provide you with the definition of these but instead, let me give you an insight to what they mean to me.

Thought: Thinking, what pops into your mind. Ideas or opinions formed by thinking. 🤔

Perception: Where you perceive something without your own judgements/prejudices of what it is that you're perceiving. Free from your own mind.

Complex right? 😮 I guess you can say that.
It's why I have dedicated myself to simplifying these methods to fit the modern world we live in today. But that's not all.

Wouldn't it be amazing if this were still true? 🤔

What made Marcus Aurelius say this exact thing when he did? What did he mean by this and does this still apply to now?

Even I, as a meditation coach, in my own earlier journeys, found this difficult to ascertain at times. But through consistency and growth, it became possible. It became easier. And when you become a client of mine, through my teachings, techniques, it will be possible for you too.

We are riddled with thoughts, perceptions, many tribulations that it makes it hard to find that untroubled retreat and we tend to avoid seeking the answers that help to overcome these. Answers we hold within ourselves, that is only accessible through meditation.

Sure there is help via counselling, therapy, other advances like yoga, retreats, rehabilitation centres. How effective is this? I myself have tried these, but there was always something missing. I wasn't quite getting there.

Through my 13+ years of experience with meditation, I have not only been able to journey through this myself, I have adapted to enhance my lifestyle and this, I wanted to share with you. The world 🌎.

There is a way, if you allow it.

What is the most commonality of these? Everyone wanted to meditate to help with these, but what went wrong?

The arrogance in that statement from the man himself. Yet for most, it's true, they just don't like to admit it.

Whether it be suffering, pain, hurt, heartache, being overwhelmed, the same could be said for it all and more.

Why do you like to hold on to these? What is the point? Why are you stuck in this vicious cycle and where does it end?

It ends when you become aware, and through meditation and the simple techniques I provide, you do more than become aware. It becomes not only bareable, you can see, you can breathe.

The weight of suffering, pain, hurt, heartache, the weight of it all becomes lighter and as it does, you become lighter. You become aware.

What does it mean to accept everything as it is without any attempt of changing or influencing it?

It took me some time to under stand this. It took a lot and more, if I'm being honest. When I did, it broke me and I let it.

When you get to this part of your meditation journey, when you stop warring with your emotions and thoughts and just be, you allow it all to rise to the surface, see it all unfolding and although you experience everything that is happening, you realise there is freedom, there is real power over it all, and yourself.

It is instinctive for us to protect ourselves, even if it is from ourselves. Past traumatic experiences, hurt, anger, confusion and the onslaught of emotions that come with it all. The guilt. You compartmentalize these and through triggers, they are opened and again, you shut them away. You're scared.

What would it mean to you if you are able to experience these without changing or influencing them, but being with them?

I've been there, I take others there, do you want to go there?

I have become so well accustomed to hearing, people are not used to their own company, they don't know how to be in their own company and they ESCAPE themselves to be everywhere else but with themselves.

Why is that?

You're so fast to share yourself with so many people you surround yourself with, you occupy yourself with external experiences, why do you, avoid you?

Think about it.

We all know about or of meditation, but when it comes down to it, do any of us actually know what it is?

What does it mean to meditate? HOW or WHY do I need to do it and WHERE do I start are regular conversations I have with my clients.
