I’M GUTTED! 😭😭

This is what the inside of the POD looked like when it came back from pods moving in storage to my home. PODS Moving & Storage.

There was not one item in the pod that wasn’t completely infested with rat or mouse faeces and urine. There were multiple nests that destroyed family items that will never be replaced. Some of you know that my husband passed away in April 2024. When I had the pod returned to me in October, I literally closed it and couldn’t open it again for months. So many irreplaceable items destroyed. More than half of the pod contents went to the dump. Not knowing how dangerous inhaling dust from mouse faeces was, I was literally sick for a month with a cough and flu like symptoms  I couldn’t get rid of.

The coldness of customer service in dealing with my claim was heartbreaking. Apparently I denied the $15 a month insurance on the $350 monthly fee. I was paying for over 3 years for storage. This I find very hard to believe. But regardless beware. This is the condition that your household items will come back in.

 I was told to file a claim with my home insurance. I’m heartbroken and disgusted.  Over $10,000 in storage fees with this company.

Well through happy tears I’m excited to announce that Health Wellness & Lifestyle TV has been nominated for 2 prestigious Leo Awards in the Information, Lifestyle & Reality Series in the categories of: Best Host(s) and Direction.

It’s been a long 10 years for our show! The episode being nominated took place at my friends’ castle in Tuscany on their beautiful olive grove. It spoke to the history of their family in Italy and their parents’ journey to Montreal.  if you’re interested in watching I have a link on YouTube. The show aired last year on television on Joytv BC and The One.

The awards Celebration takes place July 6 & 7 at the Hyatt.

L.D. McNabb truly would have been sooooo proud of me and would be racing to the store right now to grab me a bottle of champagne and orange juice. ❤️‍🩹 He thought my journey into television 10 years ago was crazy, but he never questioned the insanity and cheered me on from the sidelines. Vanessa Mcnabb and Dalton McNabb survived many film days in the road traveling with me❤️
