I’m absolutely overjoyed to be teaching alongside the incredible Jared of Pop Queen Cardio and Rachel of Rock’n’Beau tomorrow night 6:30-7:30PM !!!

[ triangle pose ]

One of my favourite postures to incorporate into flows! A great stretch for the hamstrings and a side body opener, it strengthens the legs and stabilizer muscles, and it’s a great way to relieve back pain (which I know I need rn😂) 🤩

Variations include:
- Peace fingers of the bottom arm around the big toe
- Taking a bind with the upper arm behind the back and lower arm behind the front leg
- Revolved triangle
- Forward folding over front leg

This asana flows wonderfully with side angle pose, warrior 2, and exalted warrior!

It’s never too hot for soup😍🙌🏻⁣

This Bun bo Hue (or BBH) was so kindly gifted to me by the lovely people at Herbed Noodle here in Vancouver, and I was SO excited to try it out! Spoiler alert: It is absolutely incredible🤤 The soup came as a meal kit with the fresh ingredients, noodles, and broth that I cooked up using the instructions on their website! Super user friendly, and SO delicious😍⁣

I’m a huge spicy food lover, and the BBH, which is a Vietnamese chili lemongrass noodle soup, had such a beautiful warm heat to it😌 Serve with a side of their vegan salad rolls and it’s a dream lunch!🙏🏻⁣

For my pals in the Vancouver area, definitely check out herbed noodle for some super fresh, delicious, and affordable vegan Vietnamese meal kits🤗 ⁣

Current mood: Feeling SO sunshiney inside!🤩
Have you guys been feeling all those wonderful summer feelings too?
I love the early morning sunrises, the late night sunsets, and all that beautiful warmth in between!🌈
And it’s inspired me to get creative with some at-home summer refreshers🤗
This fruity sparkling iced tea is like summer fairy magic in a glass!
To make mine, I cold brewed some DAVIDsTEA sweet tart (which is only available for Valentine’s Day sadly😞 but any cherry or berry tea will do!), added in 4 tbsp of stevia, and poured it into a large pitcher with some raspberries and chopped grapefruit. Chill, serve with ice, and top with sparkling water for a delightful and refreshing sip!🙏🏻

WHAT’S YOUR BRAND?🌈✨⁣⁣⁣⁣
A few words I used for inspiration when building mine were: Pastel, fairy, magic, soft, floral, clouds, and (of course) pink! Throw in a few of my passions (veganism, food, and yoga/fitness!) and you’ve got the Bean🌈⁣⁣⁣⁣
No one’s personal brand is going to be exactly the same. In fact, they SHOULDN’T! The key to building your “personal brand” is incorporating the person behind it. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
My list of words is made up of images/feelings/things that resonate with me as a human, and that’s what makes it work💓⁣⁣
That’s the reason I’ve been able to take this from a passion project to an actual business✨⁣⁣⁣⁣
When you are your most authentic self online and your brand is an extension of you, you’ll become a magnet for attracting a likeminded audience, as well as companies and clients that align with you!🤩⁣⁣
The best part? All you need to be is yourself, and all you need to do is share what you love🥰⁣⁣⁣⁣

I don’t know about you guys, but with everything going on these last few months I feel like I’ve been in a constant spiral. Anyone else?
And with Canada starting to ease up on lockdown restrictions and reopen, the world is starting to speed up even more even faster and the overwhelm and burnout are looming all too close.
Because of this, making sure to keep yourself taken care of and charging up your light so you can shine that light for others is SO important🙏🏻
