I am harvesting and dehydrating like crazy! Everyday I’m learning something new about plants. What I can eat, what I can make into a tea, what I can dehydrate, what roots I can harvest, what’s in season next and so on... I absolutely love the PNW and everything it has to offer!

Today I picked a bunch of raspberry leaves. I chopped most of them to dehydrate and I set aside a couple to make a fresh cup of tea with some spruce tips & some fresh mint from the garden! it was the best cup of tea I’ve ever had.

Feeling a bit sad today, Jake and I are having to cancel most of our travel plans this summer. Those who know me, know I can’t stay in one spot for too long. I love travelling and seeing this beautiful planet. I’m definitely making the most out of staying home, but man do I have travel fever bad. @ Somewhere on This Earth

It has been one full year for Jake and I building "Komorebi", which is amazing! Jake has been working on our one year anniversary video for youtube and I put together a compilation of all our victory high fives. When I was editing this video it brought an overwhelming joy to me. I love that Jake and I have this video journal that we can look back on to see the progress we have made, Year two will be epic....lots planned!
