Come home to deep, conscious connection with your Soul, Nature, & Ancestors What is Animism? Animism is all about connection. It’s the opposite of materialism.

Over the last 20 years in my practice of Spiritual Mentorship and Healing, I've witnessed disconnection as being the greatest increasing soul malady. It’s ironic that as the information age is about “getting us connected” we’re actually disconnecting more and more, from our mythic soul life and spiritual kinship with Nature. We have forgotten that we are a member of not only our immediate human community, but also our Nature communities (plants, trees, mountains, rivers, oceans), our Animal community, and our Ancestral community. This forgetting can leave us with soul lethargy, a sense of meaninglessness, and lacking the spiritual resilience to navigate life’s challenges. At its roots, Animism is an ancient celebration of the many ways of listening and being human in the sacred diversity of life. As a spiritual way of living, we learn to remember and reconnect with the ancient knowing that everything is alive and everything is connected to everything else. Animism provides us with path of conscious initiation so we can become adept at living in the natural cycles of life-death-rebirth while developing a lasting and unshakeable intimacy with our Ancestors, Nature, and Spirit.

MARCH: I’m always examining why I do what I do and share what I share and these days it’s all about bringing you home to your Spirit and your Soul.

Why?

Because when our Spirit and our Soul are well tended the rest of our life can unfold with so much more resilience and meaning and CALM.

The deep unexplainable longing disappears

The questions about the purpose of our life disappear

The dull ache of disconnection disappears.

I’m watching this whole way of living from the mind and the ego crumbling our bright spirits as individuals, families, communities and its because we have lost our relationship with our SOUL.

I think December just asks one question: Are you ready to RETURN within?

There’s a pull from Mother Earth that asks us to slow down, listen deeply, and return to what’s most important.

I know for me that it’s a season that reminds me that spiritual work isn’t something abstract but an amazing source of SUSTENANCE that when tended to can get us through the dark nights.

SOLSTICE RETREAT: It’s been another intense year, hasn’t it? The pace, the pressures, the noise of it all!

I know you’ve been trying to catch moments to realign and tend to your inner world, but it’s super-hard at times because the world keeps asking more of you.

🌟 That’s why the Solstice matters!

Winter Solstice is the stillpoint of the year. It’s a sacred portal of RENEWAL where darkness is deepest and perfect for conception.

It’s a potent pause where nature is in deep rests and reset, preparing for the return of the light.

🌟 For us too, this STILLNESS is a powerful medicine.

It calls us to stop and ALLOW our body to truly release.

To create SPACE to reflect on the year we have lived.

To receive the QUIET to listen deeply for where our soul is calling us next.

BOUNDARIES: Sometimes in our spiritual and ceremonial work, we feel so expanded that we forget that being human means having limits.

Even when we are tapped in and in communion with the infinite, we are still EMBODIED.

Every breath, every wave of energy moves through our human body, through our nervous system.

So, it’s wise to remember to really tend our physical well-being as Spirit moves through.

We can have the most loving intentions, and still our bodies need care and protection because we are vessels not vacuums!!

I know when we come into this work, it can be really exciting. It can feel wonderful to know that you can help.

At the same time, over the years, I have seen many people come to this work and burn out within 3-5 years.

So I’ll share the same gentle reminder with you that I do with everyone who takes apprenticeship with me… PACE YOURSELF!

All healing is Ancestral healing! So stay steady in your soul work. Every step of conscious transformation is celebrated by your Ancestors.

Tomorrow is the Super Moon and this Saturday is the astronomical mid-point between Autumn equinox and Winter Solstice - SAMHAIN! 🌝 💀

The perfect time to celebrate your Ancestors as they celebrate you, their descendant. 💗

ANCESTORS: A reminder that they aren’t gone but simply changed form.

In fact, they are right with us in every moment and still alive in our DNA.

This means that you can call on them for support anywhere and any time.

✨Can you feel where your lineage still lives in you?

✨What happens in your body when you remember they’ve got you in it all?

Here in the season of Ancestral remembering, I hope you’ll take some time and have a tea with those you love but are no longer embodied.

You are their prayer and your life is their joy.
