At Fashionably Sewber, our Northstar residents have been learning the art of creating ribbon skirts. Ribbon skirts are more than just clothing — they hold deep cultural meaning, symbolizing strength, identity, and connection. For many, making a skirt is a powerful act of healing, creativity, and self-expression.

Through this program, participants are gaining sewing skills, building confidence, and connecting with the pride of making something beautiful and meaningful with their own hands. We’re so proud of the incredible work being done at Northstar!
