Today, there was an opportunity to share some of our struggles with primary care physician recruitment at the ROMA Conference in Toronto.
The more we can advocate for positive change the better off all residents of eastern Ontario will be.

Peterborough County had a productive meeting at the
Rural Ontario Municipal Association (ROMA) Conference with Minister of Health, Sylvia Jones, and her team to discuss physician recruitment, emphasizing the urgent need for rural physicians. Also highlighted was the importance of bringing foreign-trained doctors home and the work being done by Peterborough County and EOPRA Eastern Ontario Physician Recruitment Alliance to address these challenges.
