Yesterday, I saw a lilac flower trying to bloom. It was October 29. It moved me. I felt sad that she was alone, listening to in time and destined to fail. At the same time, I felt love and deep gratitude that she was able to show up so beautiful and fragrant, seemingly against the odds. A reminder that gifts to the spirit are everywhere in nature. We just need to open our eyes and pause a few moments to smell the flower.
