Grounding your nervous system doesn’t always have to be Zen 🧘✨

❌ There’s a common myth that grounding and regulating your nervous system means:

- Regulation means being calm all the time

- Deep breathing is always the answer

- Avoiding stress at all costs

- Meditation is the most effective (or only) way

Your nervous system responds to rhythm and completion, not just stillness.

While meditation, sitting quietly, and deep breathing can absolutely help, they’re not the only effective tools 💛

Grounding can also look like:

Movement 🏃‍♀️

Dancing 💃

Rhythm 🥁

Humming 🎶

Singing 🎤
