“Ooo a squirrel!” 🐿️ - deffo exciting however..

Reality is me on the sofa…
scrolling my phone - trying to drown out the running commentary in my head,
and apparently picking at my skin without even noticing.

(Literally I didn’t even realise I did it until I watched it back).

Is anyone else with the skin picking? 👀

ADHD chatter — as it’s become known as — is basically that constant stream of thoughts running in the background.

Ideas.
Things I forgot to do.
Things I need to remember but will deffo forget in 10 mins
Random memories.
Self judgement.
Planning content I’ll forget to make.

It’s like 10 tabs open in my brain at the same time and I have no idea which one is actually important enough to focus on.

For a long time I thought this was just my brain and I had to live with the noise.

Breathwork was the first thing that actually helped me turn the volume down. 🌬️

Not by “clearing my mind”…
but by calming my nervous system enough that the thoughts stop shouting over each other.

And for those 15 minutes (and a good while after), the chatter finally goes quiet. For a change, there’s peace. 😌

Turns out my brain didn’t need more stimulation.

It needed a moment of safety.

Anyone else which they could turn down the noise?

ADHD brains burn a lot of energy on decisions, so repeating the same meal quietly removes one from the list.

You find your hyperfixation meal you’re set for six months, maybe a year
And then one day you wake up…
look at your eggs…
and suddenly feel sick at the sight of them. 🤢

ADHD brains regulate through rhythm and sound.

So the lyrics might be wrong…
but the nervous system is thriving. 🎶

Please tell me I’m not the only one? 😅

Going to sleep with ADHD can feel like your body just won’t settle. 😫

You change positions.
Kick the blankets off.
Suddenly become super aware that you can feel your pyjamas around your legs.
Toss and turn for hours.

Even when you’re exhausted, your nervous system still feels “on”.

Those constant micro-movements and fidgeting aren’t just random habits — they’re often your body trying to regulate itself.

ADHD nervous systems can stay in a heightened state much longer, which makes it hard to feel comfortable and fully relax.

This is where breathwork can make a big difference.

Instead of forcing yourself to “switch off”, breathwork helps the nervous system gradually settle — so your body can finally relax and sleep can come more naturally.

ADHD can feel like there’s constant noise in your mind. 📢

- Thoughts stacking on top of each other.
- Emotions getting loud.
- And that soundtrack that never really stops. 🎵
- Your nervous system always a little bit ‘on.’ 🚨

For a long time I thought “peace” was just something my brain couldnt access.

But breathwork changed that for me.

Not because it ‘fixed’ my ADHD —
but because it helped quiet the noise in my nervous system first.

And when the body starts to settle, the mind naturally follows. 😌

That’s the approach behind my ADHD Breathwork Journey.

ADHD spirals don’t get shorter because you “become calmer.”
They get shorter when your body actually learns what calm feels like. 🧠

For years, chaos was my baseline.
Overstimulated. One tiny inconvenience away from a meltdown. ⚡
Then the shame spiral/ overwhelming guilt for not doing enough.

Here’s the truth:

You can’t return to calm
if your nervous system has never safely lived there.

Breathwork didn’t fix me overnight. 🌬️
It trained my body to recognize safety.

Now when I spiral,
I have somewhere to come back to AND there’s space between the 2 places. 🤍

Self-regulation is a skill.
And skills can be trained. 🔁

This is what you learn in my 30-day ADHD Breathwork beta 10 spots available. ⏳

Filming ADHD content looks nothing like the polished videos you see… it’s me forgetting the script, noticing everything in the room, and waving my hands around like I know what I’m saying. Totally chaotic, totally human, and honestly… perfectly real. 💜

Dysregulation makes everything feel urgent. 🚨
Regulation makes everything feel workable.

You don’t need to eliminate emotion.
You need a nervous system that can hold it.

That’s what a regulated baseline actually gives you —
not numbness, not perfection…
just the ability to feel without spiralling.

If this is something you’re working on, this is exactly what I teach inside my ADHD Breathwork Beta.
You can find the details in my pinned video. 🤍
