Unified as a team to help mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. These shirts were designed by the talented Indigenous artist Phil Gray in collaboration with Cedar Roots Collective to honour the intergenerational survivors of Indian residential and day schools.

There is still a lot of clean up left to do on 41st after the fire, but we get to come back tomorrow and shops on that street are already open for business!

We wanted to reassure you that our office is open for your regularly scheduled appointment.

Please note these important road block updates:

- the crane is still lying across 41st waiting for clean up.
- 41st is closed to traffic from Balaclava to Collingwood
- Blenheim is open to traffic, but you cannot turn onto 41st .
- To get to our block via car, you can access 41st from Dunbar.
- Save-on-Foods is open as well as access to its parking lot

Where to park:

- You can access the Impark lot below our building for paid parking. Turn onto 41st from Dunbar
- Free parking in the residential areas North or South of 41st
- Limited 1 hr street parking in front of our building

Don’t forget to allow for extra time to navigate these road blocks!

Congratulations to our dental assistant, Farzana who is finally getting her Canadian Citizenship! We are celebrating her today and how far she has come. How quickly time flies! She and her family moved here from Afghanistan in 2020 where they became neighbours with Dr. Pranata. A year later Farzana visited the office to job shadow and she has been here ever since. Farzana went from having zero dental experience to becoming a vital part of our dental team. Cheers to Farzana!

It’s a snow day! Be careful out there and don’t get stuck in the snow. For everyone’s safety we have decided to cancel the day and stay at home. Sandy will still be monitoring phones and emails if you need to check in. Let’s see what tomorrow brings!

2023 was a year full of shared ups and downs, joy and pain alike. Thank you to all who shared time and space with us. We look forward to even more in 2024. We are now closed for the holidays and will return on January 3rd 2024!

What a difference a simple dental cleaning makes. This patient had just the upper right cleaned last week. Check out the improvement in the gum compared to the left side. Decreased swelling, redness, and stain on teeth. The gums are happier. Easy. Regular maintenance works.
