Shorter lengths tend to add more fullness to your sets because they’re more dense than longer lengths 😗

5 ways to grow your natural lashes

People with healthy natural lashes are the best candidates for lash extensions. Their natural lashes have the strength & capacity to develop a strong bond with the extensions💪

A stronger bond b/w extensions & the natural lash promotes good retention. People with weak natural lashes are more prone to experiencing retention issues🥺

There a variety of things that you can do to grow your lashes out prior to your appointment! Not only will keeping up with lash maintenance enhance your retention, but it will also help your sets turn out more full🤩

The more healthy natural lashes you have, the more extensions your lash tech will be able to apply

Here are 5 things you can do to help your natural lashes grow🌷

1. Lash treatments & oils🧴

These are great for hydrating your lashes & keeping them nourished. We should take care of our lashes the same way we take care of the hair on our head to keep it head💇🏻‍♀️

- Castor oil promotes hair growth, 5x faster than other ingredients
- Olive oil is a fatty oil that promotes hair growth & prevents hair loss
- Petroleum jelly conditions & moistures our lashes

2. Healthy Diet🥗

Although lash extensions are without question, beautiful and so convenient for people looking to save time while getting ready in the morning☀️

However!

They are a very high maintenance service and require the utmost treatment that requires extra care and extreme caution⚠️

If you sleep aggressively or on your face/sides, your lashes will be more prone to experiencing premature fallout 😢

Fear not! There are ways around this for everyone who struggles to sleep on their face/sides and clients who are aggressive sleepers!

1. Develop a routine that will help you adjust to sleeping on your back!

This one is a given, but sleeping on your back will definitely improve the retention of your lashes. I encourage clients to purchase a neck pillow to prevent them from moving their head while they sleep! I also tells clients to place a pillow below their back and under their legs to make sleeping on your back more comfortable 🛌

2. Start using a silk pillow case!

I encourage all my clients to purchase a silk pillow case! The material in cotton pillow cases is too harsh for lash extensions and tends to pull them out while we sleep. The fibers in silk pillow cases will be much softer your lashes and will definitely help your lash life flourish🌷

3. Purchase a 3D eye mask

3D eye masks are perfect for enhancing you retention! They extend 20mm outside your eye area, letting you sleep on your face without the guilt of worrying about your lashes fall out!
