I often receive inquiries from students and volunteers interested in field placements or job shadowing at Autism Center for Kids. While we truly appreciate your interest and dedication to supporting children and families, I want to clarify an important point:

Autism Center for Kids is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all children, families, and staff. We do not accept students or volunteers from institutions or organizations whose practices promote discrimination, target specific religious or ethnic groups, or support boycotts against any community.

Our focus is on providing individualized therapy and mental health support in a professional and welcoming space for everyone. We welcome inquiries from students and volunteers whose values align with ours.

Starting this year, our camps will be offered exclusively to current clients and families already connected with our center. This decision comes from our commitment to keeping our environment natural, consistent, and familiar — a place where every child feels comfortable, understood, and supported by people they already know and trust.
By focusing on children and families who are part of our ongoing programs, we can continue to provide the individualized care, safety, and emotional connection that make our programs so meaningful.
