We are dynamic beings, constantly changing.

The ISH.

We can't change it for our patients. We can teach and empower them with the tools they need so that they can change it for themselves.

Every appointment together is an opportunity to add a new tool into their toolbox. They can take it home with them to integrate it into their daily lives as they need. Helping them understand how it works and why it can be of use helps them understand it's importance even more.

‼️THE REAL REASON YOUR PATIENT'S PAIN PAIN KEEPS RECURRING?‼️

It's not what you think - and until you don't address it - the cycle won't stop.

They rest, they stretch, they feel better.
They get back to their activities, and then IT'S BACK. 🥴

Same pain, same area, and same frustration.

You assess and find tightness.
You assume that the opposite muscle group is weak.

In my practice in the past, I've also told strong individuals/athletes that they are weak.

So, I took care of the tightness with stretching, dry needling, cupping, and focused on strengthening.

What I didn't understand was that the pain and tightness are symptoms of a much bigger picture.

Tightness is not strength or weakness. Tightness is DYSFUNCTION!

Being stuck in a loop and accepting that this is as far as you can go in your journey to better health and movement was never okay with me.

Had the best weekend assisting Dr. Kathy Dooley and Dr. Anna Folckomer in ID 4: Neck, Jaw, Hand Concepts in San Francisco with the amazing who dove deep into discussion of the Longus Colli and Capitis with such passion for what she does.

It was nice to work alongside so many wonderful and dedicated therapists and coaches.

I'm Dr. Monica Chadha. I'm a rehab chiropractor, a teaching team member for Immaculate Dissection (a functional Anatomy seminar series), and an Anatomy & Physiology Instructor for OCTCM.

I offer in person and virtual consultations as well as mentorship. My clinic is located in Vaughan/Woodbridge (Ontario) inside the awesome as well as from home in Liberty Village in Toronto.

My goal is to help you identify the patterns or cause of your movement and health related concerns and to create an environment where you need me less and less! As you gain the skills and ability to feel more confident in your health and movement abilities, you'll be able to rely on the knowledge and experience you've gained while we work together.

Understanding how to get out of pain and working towards prevention is how we will work together at each appointment.

MMT Toronto was such a fun time! We went over major muscle tests for NKT and these eager and amazing students are even more excited for this weekends NKT 2 with Dr. Kathy Dooley

This 4-hour course allows for a lot of hands-on practice, reviewing anatomy, and fine-tuning these manual muscle tests.
