Can you tell that I'm obsessed with cute packaging?
If you're on the hunt for a really good concealer and that's pretty much a nars creamy concealer dupe, check out I'm unny! This is a Korean brand and they offer really affordable, high quality makeup and skincare products.
Do you struggle with dry, parched lips? I most certainly do and came to save the day with their tri-peptide lip cloud, it leaves my lips feeling pillowy, plush soft without being sticky and tacky. Woo!
Ps: I've had this dior palette for a very long time and can barely make a dent on it. I mainly use the white shade for highlight and pink for a blush topper. The other two, I use as eyeshadow from time to time. The brown shade is popping 🥺😨 and I really don't know how to reattach it without destroying the embossing.

How are you? It's been a long time :) and I've missed you all.
It's been a while since I've done a skincare routine post on here so here it is! For the past couple of months there were a lot of changes in my life and it really took a huge toll on my mental health so I decided to not really be as active on here. During May, I received unexpected news that I was laid off at my 4 year job and I'm not going to lie, I was pretty devastated but I also saw it as a blessing in disguise because I was getting way too comfortable and I wasn't really growing from my position. After 2 whole months, I've successfully landed myself a new job and things are starting to look up for me. Cheers to new beginnings!
Anyway, my skin has been going through with it these past few months because of stress and because I decided to discontinue the pill. It appears that my skin is starting to look and feel a lot better now; that could be because I've changed my diet and I've also started become more active. Remember folks, half the battle with skincare is not necessarily just using the "right" skincare products but it's also lifestyle choices and eating habits. I've implemented new changes to my lifestyle and am starting to see a change in my overall health, mood and well being.

Sunday funday but make sure to squeeze in some selfcare ♡
kindly sent over their newest product for me to try out and some of their popular sheet masks!
I've tried many essences in the past but never ones in dropper packaging so I was pretty stoked to give this one a shot. I find this essence really lightweight but also gives the skin quite Moisturizing. I wouldn't reccomend this for sensitive skins due to the lavender oil that's in this but overall, this would be awesome for dry, normal and combo skin types.

Minimal routines are my go-to's
Whether it's a far commute or a near one to work, I still prefer a minimal routine. 😎
Too cool for school is one of the OG kbeauty brands and this foam cleanser really reminds me of the foam cleanser from rosette, the rose dispensing one. It smells like it and feels like it~ iykyk
I've been really into powder brows lately and this is coming from someone who has really light eyebrows and who swears by brow pomade. 🤣 powder brows have a more natural and softer appearance to them and I think I'm really growing onto that kind of look.
This is my 3rd hydro grip primer and let me tell you folks- this primer is like no other. First of all, it doesn't break me out like some primers do (elf putty primer, rip) and I can slather a thick layer of it on. I find when using this primer, it really prolongs the wear of my makeup significantly. Highly reccomend, get this if you're a makeup wearer and wear makeup for long periods of the day, you won't regret it!
My previous flexitol post is honestly worth all the hype because their products are huge game changers for my skin routine from head to toe! My lips are always dry so I would keep this lip Balm in my work bag and reapply throughout the day. It's a really comfortable, thin formula and leaves the lips feeling refreshed and hydrated.
Lise watier has such a beautiful selection of makeup and they sent me this super pretty lip gloss a couple of months ago and it has been in my rotation ever since. It's not a super pigmented gloss but gives just the right amount of colour to lips for that natural, juicy lip appearance and I'm here for that! It's also not sticky and uncomfortable to wear like some glosses so, yay!

Have you tried Red light therapy before?
I've used them from time to time but I was never consistent enough to see any results. I have the LED mask and also this Red light therapy wand. I find this wand a fantastic tool to be used through the face and I tend to focus the skin under my eyes because they're lines forming around that area 🥺 I had a really bad habit rubbing my eyes a lot when I was younger and now I'm starting to regret it. 😮‍💨 hopefully using Red light therapy will reduce the appearance of those lines.
I've used a few retinols and I always seem to go back to this bakuchiol Serum because of how gentle and effective it is. I've consistently used this for over a year now and boy, my skin looks so much better and possibly even younger. 🤔🤯✨️ In my early 20s, I didn't wear much sunscreen nor did I have a proper skincare regimen so my skin looked pretty aged in my opinion. I would slap on thick layers of makeup to conceal my skin but everything looked so emphasized and exaggerated that makeup didn't even look good on anymore so I turned to skincare and honestly? It's the best decision I've ever made for myself. I don't really wear as much makeup as I use to because my skin has improved so much and I've become more confident with how it looks without makeup.

Are you struggling with dry skin issues, maybe even eczema from time to time? Don't worry, got you!
I've been using their products for a couple of days now and so far, I'm very impressed. All of their products are intensely nourishing without being too heavy and thick on the skin.
The heel magic is just like what they named it. I really need to be taking care of my heels because they're dry but whenever I use this, my heels are smooth to the touch. Like, what?😱 I'm beyond amazed! And I only apply a thin layer of this on so it's not like I'm packing it on. The texture is a light Balm consistency and my skin just absorbs it all. Highly, highly reccomend this one!
I live in a condo so it tends to be real dry like all year round so I make sure I put a body lotion and hand cream in each room. I play games for long hours of the day so I would periodically reapply creams on me to protect my skin and hydrate it. The very dry skin is the perfect all purpose cream and I use this all over my body.
I use a lot of hand creams and they're often scented with a lot of unnecessary ingredients that don't really hydrate nor nourish my skin but this one is a classic, simple hand Balm that does a superb job protecting and hydrating my hands. I like it a lot! No weird residue or film behind either.
This may come to a surprise to some but I normally get eczema forming around my eye region and it's also a very sensitive area so I have to be very selective with what I choose to apply on. This cream came just in time because I have some eczema flare-ups occurring on my eyelids and they're VERY painful.. so I would apply a thin layer of the face and eyelid cream on and I can gradually see my eyelid eczema go away and it doesn't hurt as much as it did initially.
Lip care is essential and I love this mint one! Majority of the lip balms in my rotation right now are either some kind of peppermint/mint or citrus fruit.
Overall, I would reccomend this brand and I'm most certainly going to stock up on the heel magic, eczema cream and body lotion. 🥰✨️

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers in the world. ♡
chia bounce mask is currently my go-to mask to use in the shower. I prefer using wash off masks in the shower because I can multi task while it's on my skin. Once I remove it, I find my skin really hydrated and soft to the touch.
I finally got the chance to try my new goodies and this body glow spf is STUNNING. It's very subtle on the skin but once your skin touches the sun, you see the fine little shimmers and you're glowing!
The mineral spf is pretty nice and comfortable to wear, I'll have to wear it for longer to have an opinion on it but so far, so good. Generally, I prefer chemical spfs as they're more comfortable for me to wear but this one was decent.
sent me beautiful products and I love their snail rescue Toner because it's so hydrating and penetrates deeply within my skin and does not leave a strange film behind. Their gold glow Serum is my favourite to use alone and with bb cushion because I find it really enhances the look of my skin and provides it a nice healthy glow.

I got some new hello kitty makeup in the mail yesterday and was stoked to try them out! Here are my first impressions of them:
The foundation was a decent match to my skin tone however, I found it a bit too thick and matte for my liking. I'm going to try using a glow Serum or primer with it tomorrow and will see if that's any better. Normally, I tend to gravitate towards lower coverage, sheer, glowy formulas so this was like the complete opposite of what I expected.
Without good skin prep, makeup always looks funky so here's the breakdown of my elaborate skincare routine prior to makeup. I always ensure I cleanse my skin thoroughly and I go in with my facial mists. The ones I've been loving are from holysnails and laneige, they're deeply hydrate my skin without being too heavy and then I follow up with the ahc eye cream because my under eyes are extremely dry. I follow up with the beauty of joseon ginseng serum, glow recipe plum plump Moisturizer and then the supergoop glowscreen.

has to be one of my favourite kbeauty brands. I wish they were more accessible here in Canada, maybe one day!
I really enjoyed their power calm hydrating cleanser so I was thrilled to see them include their acne cleanser because I wanted to try another cleanser from their brand.
As for the snail rescue line, I really enjoy these all year round as their formula is light but super hydrating. No sticky residue behind!
I have yet to try the exfoliating Toner and also the makeup remover as I have a few open right now so I want to use those up before I open these.

Another month, another subscription box 😉✨️
April base box got me shook.
I really like this month's box especially the makeup and hair product they included for this month. The eyeliner is SO good, comparable to the urban decay eyeliner except for only fraction of the cost and it's creamier as well. mascara does a fantastic job separating my lashes without clumping them together like some mascaras. Excited to see more from them in future boxes!
I'm someone whose pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair so I don't really style it but I do want volume and this does the job for me and it smells great too! Pity that some of it spilt during the transit here but the product is still very good.
Beauty bakerie always kills it when it comes to cute packaging and this palette has a lot of wearable warm tones that can be used everyday. The texture is really silky and pigmented!
Last but not least, the real rose petal mask is such a treat and smells amazing! Sensitive skin folks, you may want to avoid this one because of the fragrance.
Final verdict: this month's box is awesome! The value and variety here is unbeatable. I've tried many subscription boxes in the past and was not completely satisfied with them as they only included sample size products whereas boxycharm guarantees to give you full size products every month.
