Make quick & easy iced tea with me 🍹☀️

When the weather heats up, this is my go-to way to cool down fast 😎

How to:
1. Use double the tea leaves
2. Brew with half the water
3. Add sweetener while it steeps if you like
4. Don’t oversteep delicate teas like green
5. Fill your glass with ice
6. Pour over and enjoy ✨

Are you familiar with cream tea? ☕️🍓

It’s a traditional British ritual consisting of tea (often a classic breakfast blend or Earl Grey) served alongside a freshly baked scone with clotted cream and jam.

Unlike a full afternoon tea (which includes sandwiches and pastries), a cream tea is lighter, simpler, and perfect for a relaxed afternoon 🫖

P.S. This was at The Conservatory Tea House at Warwick Castle…a beautiful place to slow down and enjoy this tea tradition ✨

One of my favourite little routines lately… library visits with Lenny, filling my tote with books, then heading home for tea and story time together ✨

At the moment it’s all about Lego books after our Legoland trip…yes, this mug is from there too 😜

Which one is your spring tea vibe? 🫖🌼✨

Floral or citrus? Radiance with dried berries, chamomile and rose or Melody with tulsi, lemon peel, lemongrass, green rooibos and a hint of black peppercorn 🌹🍋

Both are perfect for transitioning through the season from a cozy warm cup to a refreshing iced tea as this summer weather rolls in ☀️

Make scones with us 🫖🍰💕

We made classic English scones for our afternoon tea party last weekend using a simple and delicious recipe from The Cup of Life. They are a little different from North American scones…less sweet, light and fluffy, and perfect with clotted cream and jam 🍓

I may have lost count of the sugar at one point (baking with a little helper can be a bit distracting sometimes 😜), but they still turned out so tasty and were enjoyed by everyone at the tea party 🍽️
