Come join us for a drink but don't dress up on our account, t-shirts and ripped jeans or yoga pants are all part of the uniform. Chances are you won't refer your mechanic because of their excellent bookkeeping skills or your plumber because of their MBA. People do business with people they like and referrals are as much or more about the person then the service they provide. With traditional networking you're not likely to learn too much about the people you meet by practicing your elevator pitch on everyone you shake hands with. With that in mind we created Banter to be the answer to the question "why is networking not working?".
