Honored to be featured in an article exploring how pets can support student mental health. College life comes with unique challenges, and animals can provide emotional stability and ease stress. While pet ownership isn’t practical for everyone, it’s heartening to see institutions offering alternatives like therapy dogs on campus. WOW - so crazy that out of all the Canadian Animal Assisted Therapy professionals they chose me - my heart is full! 🐾

This AAT certification will provide you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to incorporate animals into your professional interventions. The program is split into eight units that you will explore at your own pace, with assignments to complete in order to receive facilitator feedback and complete the certification. A final exam will showcase your knowledge base as you finish up and become certified in animal-assisted therapies to provide in your area of specialization.
