Yes we still have a mask mandate. And yes, we should be wearing them. For months to come. Regardless how one feels about them, they DO make a difference. Gratefully.

We’ve made and donated over 12,000 masks since the start of this pandemic that has altered our world. That is 35 minutes per mask X 12,000+ of our lives given to care for the safety and health of others. With a cost of $2.50-3.50/mask. Close to 2 years of a life.

I searched for fun amazing fabrics in the hopes people would love them and wish to wear them. Used all my own hoarded quilting fabrics. Graciously was given fabrics by others caring. Just to try and make a difference somehow.

Cotton , double layered , with filter pockets.
3 sizes. Filter material available as well.
As always, BY DONATION ONLY! 💗 no set cost. Whatever you feel is good for you.
6 masks per envelope max. For $2.10 shipping. 1-2 masks cost a stamp to mail.

**These will be the LAST MASKS we make or have available.
There is appx 100 of size 7” just needing bias sewn down,
As well as another couple hundred needing completing at 8”. Those Incompleted ones I’ll post up on Monday.

**Whatever amounts are received, will go towards my Son Emeriks eligibility to play on The Western Canada Prep Academy Basketball Team in Edmonton and a donation to FCSS Food bank/Seniors meals at the Spirit River branch.***

The Province of Alberta has returned to mandatory masking in indoor public spaces. Thank you to all that have continued to mask or remain cautious through this all. I know and understand how frustrating and enduring this all has been on everyone.
It’s been nice to get out and about and do some things while staying safe.

I will be returning to the Rycroft Farmers' Market with lots of great masks! Lots of new ones. I may even whip up some new ones these next weeks too.

Im always available for messaging and will ship anywhere across the country/world. I do ask that you at least cover your postage. 🥰

We stopped counting at the over 11,000 mask mark. Maybe we will resume the count just to see.

As always, masks are donation only. Whichever you like. If anyone you know needs them and has little, please tell me. I’ll be sure they and their children are stocked. 💗Everyone needs cool masks that they will love and feel more comfortable to wear. I’ll post up and updated photo list if I have time.

If I can’t, I’ll at least post up a link to the last ones to took too market as I have most of not all left. There’s well over 1600 masks here still, and I have Halloween and Xmas to finish up still!

HEADING TO RYCROFTS MOTHER DAY MARKET TODAY!!

Each mask is Double layer quilting cotton, filter pocket, with 1 layer of filter fabric.

We’ve been sewing this last batch for a long time now.
All posted in themes. Hockey, Star Wars, men’s, ladies, floral, glitter, Disney, Marvel, Games, Movies, Animals.... There is a great variety there. Like 1300 masks. (Could be more. Truth be told... I didn’t really count these last ones.)
This last new and final batch puts us now over
11,000 face masks created, donated, given, sold, gifted... that’s a fair bit of masks over this past year of constantly sewing. Thank you to Elizabeth, Peter and Karen for their time at their machines to help get these out.

Well done everyone that is doing their part. I know it’s hard and frustrating, overwhelming. This has just been so hard, but let’s keep doing our part. We can do this.

Below are 8”, I’ll bring the 7” and 6” with me as well.

Double layer, with filter pocket to add in your extra layers for as much protection as wanted. In 3 sizes. 8”, 7”, and 6”.
Pretty much all that We have cut up currently at the moment.
Sizes posted in the comment of the photos.
We’ve been cutting, sewing, ironing, and pleating for weeks!
All that’s posted is available in the sizings
listed in photos. Adjustable beads if needing for secure fit. There are other pics, I just need to organize and take a couple more pics.

*PRICES*
For regular pleated style, As usual, pay whatever one feels is good, right, fair. No set price. Each mask costs appx $3.50 and takes 35 min of labor.
Also, There are some fitted style ones as well from my friend Jennifer, that I will organize and post up as well. She graciously donated them, and any funds donated for them, I will find places to donate to.

For the different , fitted style, those are $10/mask. Beard masks are $25/mask. Upon request only. I do have some pre cut, but not many.
Often someone’s heading somewhere. Can arrange for drop off. Or pick up.
Posting through mail-6 masks per envelope is anywhere from $2-4. 2 masks per envelope is cost of a stamp. 🙂

Here’s all the new patterns cut and made into 8” masks. Can be altered to 7”. They added to those we were working on before!!!!!
I’ll post all other 8” 7” and 6” in another updated post once I get all things organized as to what is available.
There’s over 1400 in this round.
