"You don’t need another quick fix—you need a nervous system that knows how to heal itself."

It’s something I hear often—people feeling stuck in a cycle of short-term fixes and temporary relief, still searching for that deeper change that truly lasts. Many have “tried everything,” yet still haven’t reached the root of their health challenges. (I was one of those people too!)

That’s where Spinal Flow Technique comes in—a gentle, precise, and profoundly effective way of working with the body’s own wisdom to create sustainable transformation from the inside out.

Unlike approaches that focus solely on “fixing what’s wrong,” Spinal Flow honors the body’s strengths, acknowledges its story, and works to unlock the deep healing potential already inside you.

1. Amplifying What’s Right in the Body
Most healthcare models start by searching for what’s broken. Spinal Flow takes a different view. We ask, “Where is the body already working beautifully?”

That doesn’t mean we ignore pain—it’s an important signal that something needs attention. But we also look for the places where your body is already breathing fully, moving with ease, and showing adaptability, even in the middle of stress.

In Spinal Flow, we focus on these strengths because they become the foundation for lasting change. As we work through the seven gateways of the spine, we clear blockages—the areas where the nervous system has been holding tension or trauma—allowing the body’s healing messages to flow freely again.

This isn’t about just “managing” symptoms. It’s about helping your nervous system reorganize and function at a higher level, so your whole body becomes more adaptable, resilient, and able to heal itself over time. Clients are often amazed at how quickly their bodies remember what it feels like to be in balance once the right pathways are opened.

2. Teaching the Nervous System to Self-Heal
Think of it like teaching your body a skill it can keep for life. Spinal Flow doesn’t simply offer temporary relief—it “trains” your nervous system to recognize, release, and reset patterns of stress.

During sessions, you may notice your breath deepening, tension unwinding, and sometimes emotions rising to the surface. These are signs that your body is processing and releasing stored stress it may have carried for years.

Over time, this process builds a nervous system that is more self-regulating and self-correcting—able to adapt to life’s challenges without constantly needing outside intervention. This shift is powerful, because it means you’re not just feeling better, you’re becoming better equipped to live with greater ease, clarity, and vitality.

3. Gentle, Precise, and Profound
Stress patterns in the body show up as blockages along the spine, disrupting the communication between brain and body. Traditional approaches often use force to “push” these areas back into place, or providing medication to alter the chemistry in the body. In Spinal Flow, we work differently.

We find the areas—through access points—where your body is already open and responsive, and apply light, precise touch. This tells your brain, “It’s safe to let go,” triggering the body’s natural ability to release tension, reset, and heal.

When your nervous system receives healthy, supportive input, it processes life more clearly, responds with greater ease, and naturally produces healthier outcomes—something you’ll notice not just in your body, but in your mind and emotions as well.

By working with your body rather than against it, we access change that is deep, lasting, and holistic—not just physical, but mental and emotional too. Clients often describe feeling calmer, clearer, and more themselves as the nervous system reorganizes and old stress patterns dissolve.

Healing That Evolves You
Spinal Flow isn’t about “restoring you to the way you used to be”—it’s about helping you evolve to the next level of resilience, health, and well-being. Each session builds on the last, opening more pathways for healing, unlocking greater adaptability, and reconnecting you with the intelligence that’s been in your body all along.

If you’ve been feeling stuck or like you’ve “tried everything,” this may be the fresh approach you’ve been searching for. Spinal Flow doesn’t just treat symptoms—it transforms the way your body and nervous system respond to life, allowing you to move beyond survival and into thriving.

When one's perspective is able to shift, you are part way toward sustainable and lasting healing.

Everything the body does, and all its reactions, (bad or good) are 100% good. If it didn't do all this, we wouldn't be alive to talk about it.

Let Spinal Flow help you create a new reality and allow you to fully connect the mind and body to be able to live, experience and thrive in this perspective ✨️

"You don’t need to go back into your history to heal."
I remember being told that once—by someone I saw as an authority. But I walked away from that conversation feeling invalidated, unimportant, and completely unheard.

And honestly? I fundamentally disagree with that idea.

Every experience we’ve lived—every chapter—shapes who we are. It’s all woven into the fabric of our nervous system and biology, influencing how we show up in life, relationships, and even in our own healing.

To truly understand ourselves, I believe we must be willing to ask deeper questions.
To look at patterns.
To meet ourselves with compassion.
To get curious about the unconscious layers that drive our behavior and biology.

Let me be clear: Looking at our history is not about placing blame.
💡It’s about gaining insight.
đź’ˇIt's about understanding how our biology was shaped so we can move forward with more awareness, more choice, and better health.

And it's not just one thing that influences us.
It's everything.
Every event, every input, every stressor—or support—has an effect.
On every system in the body: the nervous system, endocrine system, digestive, immune, respiratory, cardiovascular…
They’re all interlinked. Our history leaves an imprint across the whole system.

Recently, while listening to a Stanford lecture, I was blown away by something that confirmed this belief even further.

🌱 Did you know… the nutritional state of your mother—especially during the third trimester of pregnancy—can biologically program how your body functions for the rest of your life?

The third trimester (weeks 28–40) is a crucial period of development. It's when vital organs like the brain, lungs, kidneys, and pancreas rapidly mature.

During this time, the fetus is essentially asking:
➡️ What’s the world out there like?
➡️ Is it a place of nourishment or scarcity?
➡️ Is there enough?

And the fetus learns the answer through mom’s blood.

If the mother is undernourished—or eating a diet high in empty calories and low in nutrients (hello, fast-paced Western diet)—then the fetus starts adapting to survive in a world where resources seem scarce.

This process is known as metabolic programming, or metabolic imprinting.
It leads to what scientists call a "thrifty phenotype."

đź’ˇ So what is a phenotype?
A phenotype is simply an observable trait or characteristic. It could be something physical, like height or eye color, or something functional, like how your metabolism or organ systems operate.
While our genes provide the blueprint, phenotypes are shaped by both genetics and environment—and often times, the environment has an even greater influence.

In this case, the environment inside the womb is signaling the fetus to prepare for a life where food and resources might be scarce.

Here’s how the body adapts:

The pancreas gets programmed to overreact to food, storing energy as quickly as possible.

The kidneys learn to hold onto salt—because salt may be scarce.

The body becomes excellent at storing fat and conserving energy.

This adaptation made sense in a survival-based environment.
But fast-forward to adulthood—and those same adaptations can lead to much higher risks of:
🩸 Obesity
🩺 Hypertension
🍬 Type 2 Diabetes
⚠️ Other metabolic illnesses

In fact, adults who were "hungry in the womb" have been shown to carry a 19-fold higher risk for these conditions.

This is just one example of why going back into your story—your history—matters.

Because healing isn’t just about what’s happening now… it’s about understanding the deep biological feedback loops that were wired in early—often before we were even born.

🧠 🤲This is where Spinal Flow can play a powerful role.
By working directly with the nervous system, Spinal Flow helps identify where stress and survival patterns have been locked into the body—and gently supports the release of those stored patterns.

This opens the body to new neurological and physiological messages.
Over time, this can help reprogram outdated loops of tension, scarcity, or dysregulation—and support your body’s natural ability to shift from survival into thriving.

Because when the nervous system feels safe, your biology begins to re-pattern in real time.

✨ Awareness is not blame.
It’s the foundation of healing.
It’s how we reclaim choice, compassion, and a healthier path forward.

Did you know Ultraviolet (UV) light is an essential environmental signal that plays a crucial role in regulating many hormonal and metabolic functions.

Exposure to UVA light is crucial for stress hormone balance, lowering blood pressure, building natural sun protection and boosting your mood. Still UVA light is also a stressor that can induce photodamage (DNA damage and skin aging) via the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS).
The key is balancing UV exposure with protective/regenerative red and infrared (IR) light and building up your solar callus (aka natural sun protection mechanisms in your skin) through gradual, consistent and smart sun exposure.

Photoprotection:
Innate protective mechanisms against UV damage include pigmentation (melanin), thickening of your skin, activation of DNA repair systems, enhancing cellular differentiation and sensitivity to programmed cell death (apoptosis), increasing antioxidants, and initiating anti-inflammatory effects. Damage occurs naturally under short-wavelength UV and blue light, which is not a problem if adequate repair is taking place.

Being inside most of the time and exposing yourself to midday sun without acclimatization is likely the most effective way to amass large amounts of skin damage. Such behavior is unnatural and has not been practiced by any of our ancestors. In nature, most activity occurs in the morning and evening, with midday being a time for rest and seeking shade. Skin exposure to early morning (protective) and late afternoon (regenerative) light is necessary to be able to tolerate UV light well. Unfortunately, modern society is making it extremely difficult to live accordingly.

Being behind glass blocks approximately 50% of all the regenerative red and IR light, all UVB light, while most UVA rays pass unhindered. Chronic exposure to direct sunlight behind glass is an excellent recipe for skin damage.

UVA light plays an essential role in long-lasting melanin pigmentation, aka sun protection. Melanin acts as natures sunscreen, converting UV light into harmless heat with 99.9% efficiency, thus protecting your skin and DNA. Melanin also serves many other vital functions, like scavenging free radicals and regulating your immune system.

Light is a Drug
UVA rays produce hormones via your eyes and locally in your skin. These rewarding hormones include beta-endorphin, serotonin, and dopamine. These compounds are produced under the influence of UVA light.

Nitric Oxide
Exposure to UVA light, directly and indirectly, through nitric oxide (NO) release widens blood vessels, increases blood flow, and reduces blood pressure. (NO) also normalizes blood sugar and has anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and anti-tumor effects.

Steroid Hormones
UVA is also essential for balancing steroid hormones in your blood. Blue light induces stress hormones (i.e.: adrenaline, noradrenaline, cortisol) and UVA destroys these hormones, thus maintaining a delicate balance.
Prolonged exposure to artificial light (from LED, florescent lamps, screens) without exposure to UV light breaks this hormonal balance. An unregulated overproduction of steroid hormones follows, leading to a cascade of downstream health effects.

The key message is this - UV light is essential to your health. Gradual and regular exposure to your eyes and skin, without interference is pretty much all it takes.

I love my clients and what Spinal Flow does for their systems đź’ť
✨️ 4th session
✨️ 17 year old female
✨️ ADHD and Autism

As a Spinal Flow Practitioner, I beleive that the body develops adaptive strategies, whichever way it must be "worded". Spinal Flow helps to retrain these strategies.

To be able to deliver a 2nd session --- be able to place my hands on her spine --- and she doesn't jump --- her startle response has settled --- is a beautiful gift to hold space for and witness ✨️🤲

Suggestion: Consume a superfood such as Irish Sea Moss and add celtic salt and/or lemon to every bit of water for electrolytes.

One would be surprised just how dehydrated a body can be. When you start addressing your salt and mineral content, naturally with a food, and not a supplement or drug, the body begins to feel amazing, flexible, supple, smooth, less food cravings, less thirst.

Everything your body and brain does - is based on the best strategy for your well-being.

Spinal Flow can help one to open up to the shut down emotions that were never able to be released from the body (e-motion = energy in motion) - that energy must go somewhere and if it's kept in, that energy will manifest in the body.
