Postpartum nutrition isn’t about “bouncing back.”
It’s about being built back up. 🤍
After birth, your body is healing, replenishing blood volume, repairing tissue, regulating hormones, and often producing milk — all while you’re caring for a brand-new human. Warm, nourishing meals with protein, fibre, iron, and healthy fats can make a real difference in energy, mood, and recovery.
This cozy lentil & vegetable soup (from ) is one of our favourites — grounding, gentle on digestion, and easy to reheat when days blur together. Paired with good bread and eaten slowly (or one-handed), it’s postpartum care in a bowl.
If you’re newly postpartum: you deserve to be fed, too.
If you’re supporting someone postpartum: bringing food is support.
