Lyme Walk Niagara regrets to inform you that we will not be hosting an awareness walk this year. We are so blessed and grateful with the support you have shown us over the past two years. Last year's walk was bigger than we ever could have imagined it! Our main goal was always to raise awareness about Lyme Disease and we couldn't be more proud of this accomplishment. Together, we have all made a difference in the Lyme community, whether it was raising funds, raising awareness, or building a strong and safe support system. Lyme Walk Niagara was featured in many local newspapers along with our live taping on The Weather Network. We have raised over $18,000 in funds that went directly to Lyme Ontario as well as The G. Magnotta Foundation for Vector Borne Diseases. Both of these organizations continue to do great things for the Lyme community and we will continue to support them for years to come.

Please join us on Saturday May 27th, for Lyme Ontario's "A Walk for Hope" in Burlington as well as the Gabe Magnotta Memorial Golf Classic hosted by the G. Magnotta Foundation on Thursday, June 15th.

Again, we thank you for your support. We will continue to fight this battle along side you and we will continue raising awareness in all that we do.

Sincerely,
Alisha & Mauryah

Lyme Walk Niagara would like your support in the "Lyme Letters Canada Campaign".

Urgently seeking letters from Lyme patients, family, friends, co-workers and concerned citizens across Canada. The purpose of the Lyme letters Canada Campaign is to collect as many letters as possible from Canadians regarding how Lyme Disease and its co-infections have impacted your lives. The letters will be taken to the Federal Health Minister, The Honorable Jane Philpott at her constituent office in Markham, Ontario or at her office in Ottawa, Ontario. The hope is to use this letter writing campaign to raise media attention to show how wide-spread Lyme Disease is in Canada - affecting men, women and children.

If each person could get 10 friends/family members to write a letter, draw a picture, send a quote etc. it will be very impactful!!

LETTER DEADLINE: March 15th, 2017

Follow this link to find out more information about the campaign about about where to send your letters.
