"A name isn't a person. Don't ever remember someone by their name. To keep someone alive, you keep them inside you; you put their face on your heart. Then no matter where you are, they are always with you. Because they are a part of you."

- Adam Johnson, The Orphan Master's Son

Valentine’s Day can have weight and loneliness when someone you love is no longer here.

If you’re missing them today, know that your grief is valid, your love still matters, and their memory lives on through you.

Be soft with yourself. Hold space for the ache. Love doesn’t end; it simply changes shape. 🩷

Winter has a way of making grief feel louder.
The days are shorter, the nights are longer, and the cold can settle not just in our bones, but in our hearts.

If you’re grieving, know this: there is nothing wrong with you if this season feels heavy. Grief often deepens in the quiet months, when the world slows, and memories have more space to surface.

Be gentle with yourself. Rest when you need to. Speak their name. Let warmth come in small ways: soft blankets, shared stories, candlelight, connection.

You don’t have to carry grief alone, especially in winter. 🤍

See you there! We may touch on grief resources on Saturday. Come on out to learn more.

This is why we do what we do 💜

To everyone who has trusted us enough to invite death education into your lives, your homes, your classrooms, and your community spaces; thank you. 🫶

Talking about death, dying, and grief takes courage. Allowing these conversations into your world is an act of vulnerability and deep care, and it is something we never take lightly. We are honoured every time someone opens the door and says, “Let’s talk about this.”

As we move into 2026, we are filled with gratitude for the connections made, the stories shared, and the moments of learning and tenderness that happened along the way. We look forward to continuing this work in the community; holding space, offering education, and walking alongside people through the conversations that matter most. ❤️

Thank you for trusting us.
We can’t wait to continue this journey together in 2026. 🤍
