🌟 Surround yourself with people who genuinely care those who, despite their busy lives and challenges, still go out of their way to celebrate the small joyful moments with you. These are the moments that warm your heart, ease your mind, and bring a smile to your face.

It’s these little moments gives us the motivation to keep going, to keep giving, helping us forget our own burdens for a while and feel more grounded. They’re the moments that truly shape our lives and become lasting memories which gives us the motivation to continue and give back to the society even more.

To those who brought joy and smiles into my life and heart yesterday. I want to say: Thank you. I’m deeply grateful and blessed to have you in my life. 💛

🌟On November 9, Dr. Sherry Ghorbankhani, PsyD, CCC, RCC, was invited as a guest speaker at an event organized by the Canadian Iranian Foundation in West Vancouver, focusing on the crucial and often hidden issue of elder abuse. In her talk, she defined the different forms of abuse—emotional, physical, and financial—and shared practical ways to recognize, prevent, and respond to them, emphasizing their deep impact on victims’ mental and emotional well-being.

Dr. Ghorbankhani highlighted that prolonged exposure to abuse can lead to anxiety, depression, and cognitive decline, underscoring the importance of awareness, communication, and community involvement. She encouraged families, caregivers, and professionals to create environments where older adults feel heard, valued, and safe.

Special thanks to Ms. Filsoof from the Canadian Iranian Foundation for organizing this meaningful event, and to Mr. Mahichi for capturing its memorable moments.

🌟Healing in a relationship doesn’t start with arguments or proving who’s right.
It starts the moment both people pause, listen, and truly try to understand each other.
Love can’t grow in blame or silence — it grows in honesty, repair, and the courage to be seen.
Every conversation that comes from care instead of defense brings hearts closer together.
