🌿 Feeling Stuck in Indecision? You're Not Alone. 🌿

Ok. I'm not over here pretending to be some kind of life guru 🧘‍♀️....like.... at all! I'm just a girl on a mission to do better, even if it's just a little.

I once had a tarot reading with a very sweet little, soft spoken lovely lady. I was there to get some clarity on a few decisions I was trying to make. I was so focused on picking "the right thing" that I became frozen in fear and felt trapped. After nearly a half hour of conversation, this gentle little lady looked at me and said firmly, "IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU PICK, BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAKE THE DAMN DECISION!" 😆 (I'm not sure, but I think the F word may have been dropped as well. 🫣😬

Indecisiveness isn’t a flaw. It’s often a sign that your inner and outer selves are asking for alignment before taking the next step. When your mind says “go,” but your heart whispers “wait,” it can feel like you're spinning your wheels.

🔍 Why does indecision happen?

1. Fear of making the wrong choice
2. Overwhelm from too many options
3. A nervous system in survival mode
4. Perfectionism and people-pleasing tendencies
5. Not trusting your inner wisdom

I'm definitely a 1, 4 & 5. Which one are you?

✨ But here’s the truth: You don’t have to have it all figured out to take one small step. Sometimes, things only start to make sense after the shift begins.

You don’t have to rush. You just have to listen. You are allowed to take your time and trust yourself. Don't worry - if one door closes... you can always build your own table. 🤷‍♀️ 🙃

While I was out and about running errands today, I couldn't help but notice a ridiculous number of obstacles, both physical ones and ones in communication! By the end of the day it became obvious that something cosmic was going on....then it hit me!

MERCURY RETROGRADE ! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🥴

July 17 – August 11 (in Leo & Cancer)

But just for fun let's look at the positive aspects of Mercury retrograde.
Despite its reputation for causing tech mishaps and miscommunications, Mercury retrograde actually brings opportunities for reflection and realignment. Here are some uplifting benefits:

In between errands we stopped by Sandy's Ice Cream on the waterfront in Pictou for a strawberry shortcake sundae. It did not disappoint with its fresh local berries, soft cake and whip cream....and ice cream of course! Yum!

So as we continue to work on the house renovations, or as I call it, "operation spruce up", preparing for me to work from a home office, I starting wondering about other aspects of the houses energetic imprint... things like the numerology of the house number or the Feng shui of the house number.

So here's a little interesting research I came up with:

🌿 Healing doesn’t always look pretty

It’s not always bubble baths and meditation music. Sometimes, healing looks like puffy eyes and a pile of tissues. Sometimes it’s saying no when your voice trembles. Sometimes it’s sitting in silence, letting yourself feel the very thing you've tried to avoid for years.

✨Healing can look like:
• Taking a nap instead of pushing through
• Crying in your car before going inside
• Saying “I don’t know” and meaning it
• Choosing peace over perfection
• Writing letters you’ll never send
• Canceling plans because your soul needs rest
• Feeling messy, vulnerable, raw—and not fixing it

Healing asks us to stop running, to be brave enough to sit with the ache, to feel the grief, the rage, the guilt, the regret—and to let it move through us.

💛 You don’t have to look polished while you heal. You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You just have to be present. You just have to feel it. That is the work.

This season of healing may not be beautiful on the outside, but it’s powerful, sacred, and transformative on the inside.

🌱 Trust the process. The mess is part of the medicine.

This spider situation is out of control!!!!!
Last night, one had the nerve — the audacity — to crawl up my arm and wake me up. (and that was not the first time in the past few weeks). Clearly, they’ve ditched subtlety and gone straight to divine intervention! 😅

Before you reach for the broom or run away screaming, hear me out — in many spiritual traditions (including Steven Farmer’s animal spirit teachings), spider energy is rich with meaning.

🕸️ Spider is the weaver of destiny, the storyteller, the gentle (or not-so-gentle!) reminder that we are the creators of our own lives.
They show up to nudge us:
🌿 What are you weaving right now?
🌿 Are you stuck in an old pattern?
🌿 What new web wants to form?

And yes — they’ll keep showing up (even in your bed apparently) until you hear the message. 🙃

Pay attention to what animals cross your path — they’re often messengers, not random visitors. Stay open, stay curious, and maybe even say thank you… after you stop screaming.
