Camino de Santiago 2.0
Portuguese Coastal Route — Day 1
Today I began at the Cathedral in Porto, walking through the city and out along the ocean.
Past small seaside towns, long boardwalks, and that quiet energy you can only feel on a pilgrimage.
This is my second Camino in 6 months.
The first time, my theme was letting go.
I had just sold my home in Whistler, packed my 4000 sq ft life into a 10x10 storage unit, and stepped into the unknown.
Since then, so much has changed.
I’ve let go of what I thought I wanted…
and now I’m exploring what actually feels aligned.
How I want to live.
Where I want to be.
How I want my business to grow.
How I want to spend my time.
This Camino feels different.
It’s not about release anymore.
It’s about alignment.
Connection to myself.
Connection to something deeper.
And learning how to listen.
Day 1 gave me a lot of space for that.
38 km of walking, thinking, noticing.
Alignment isn’t something you find once.
It’s something you return to—again and again.
And for now, this path is where I practice that.
✨
I love this adventure.
