Hi! I’m Sophie 👋🏼
I wanted to share a little about my journey, especially for those who may be new around here.
I found yoga when I was 16, looking for relief from scoliosis pain (shameless plug for our Alleviate class!). What I didn’t expect was how deeply it would change my life, and my career path. But I couldn’t imagine my life taking any route that didn’t end up here.
Over the years, and especially through motherhood, my path shifted from doing more to feeling more. Slowing down and listening. It’s changed my practice, how I teach, and also what we offer at Veda.
We started (almost 8 years ago) as a studio that offered everything. All the styles. For all the people. But I learned over time that this wasn’t serving myself, or the community well. Now we have a beautiful studio, and a lovely community, where we focus on gentle movement, and a space to heal + rest.
In my one on one sessions I use my education in Reiki, aromatherapy, Somatic mind body healing, and Ayurvedic head massage to support deep relaxation, energetic balance, and the body’s natural ability to restore itself.
