The Winter Solstice is the year's longest night, and while this season can be filled with excitement and celebration, it can also be a difficult time for those experiencing grief and loss.
At the BTHC Foundation, we have been so honoured to receive gifts and tributes in memory of those lost loved ones this year. With your gifts, we are able to support compassionate palliative and spiritual care at BTHC, helping ensure that comfort and dignity are there when its needed most.

Muffin Day is a time-honoured tradition at BTHC. It's a chance for our physicians and radiologists to say "thank you" to the entire hospital staff. Muffin Day goes all the way back to Morden Hospital and Dr. Jim and Hazel Menzies. As a gesture of appreciation for the hospital team, Hazel would bring homemade cakes and cookies at Christmas. Since moving to BTHC, Muffin Day has expanded to include "crackers by the Kevins" (Drs. Earl and Convery), and support from Menzies Medical Centre, C W Wiebe Medical Centre , the BTHC Radiologists and the BTHC Foundation.
Thank you everyone for all you do to make the care so special at BTHC! ❀
