Let’s plant seeds of change by reducing waste and embracing sustainable practices. Together, we can nurture our environment and ensure a vibrant future for generations to come! 🌱💚

This Earth Day, we are reminded that the choices we make today shape the world for our kids tomorrow. At BGC Winnipeg, caring for our community means caring for our planet. From reducing waste to rethinking everyday habits, every step forward matters.

By reducing waste, reusing what we can, and recycling, we’re taking steps toward a healthier, more sustainable world. Together, let's aim for a cleaner, healthier future.🌍

Join us all four Wednesdays in May 🐎

The Ojibway Spirit Horse has a strong connection with Indigenous communities. The horses lived partly in the wild and were cared for by the people while helping with daily life. After almost disappearing, they are now being brought back through care and breeding.

Over three weeks, you will learn the story of the Spirit Horse and its connection to community. You will also learn the Asemaa’kwe song and take part in ceremonies, including the Feast of the Drums, Smudge, and Pipe Ceremony with Elder Alision Cox.

In the fourth week, join us on the land to meet the Spirit Horses and the people who care for them. You will share songs with the horses and take part in a closing feast.
